Artwork: Vulguine in the moonlight | Splinterlands Art Contest 283 (Eng/Esp)

Hello artist friends of this precious community, we hope you are very well and active with your fantastic works of art. Today I want to share with you an art that I made for the weekly Splinterlands contest, I drew Vulguine, I loved this card and since I like animals I said let's get to work. I wanted to recreate a scene that is typical of wolves, so I drew it in the moonlight. The technique I used was traditional drawing plus watercolors for the background. I hope you like it.
Hola amigos artistas de esta preciada comunidad, esperando se encuentren muy bien y activos con sus fantásticas obras de arte. El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un arte que hice para el contest semanal de Splinterlands, dibuje a Vulguine, me encanto esta carta y como me gustan los animales me dije manos a la obra. Quise recrear una escena que es típica de los lobos por eso lo dibuje a la luz de la luna, la técnica que use fue dibujo tradicional más acuarelas para el fondo. Espero les guste.
For the sketch I used graphite pencils, I drew part by part until I had the entire drawing ready, I observed the original letter and gave the corresponding details in each of the areas.
Para el boceto utilice lápices de grafito, fui dibujando parte por parte hasta tener todo el dibujo listo, fui observando la carta original y dando los detalles correspondientes en cada una de las áreas.
Then highlight with a pen to clean the drawing and then start painting.
Luego remarque con bolígrafo para así limpiar el dibujo y después comenzar a pintar
I did the coloring using red for its marks and then gray, applying different pressure to obtain the tones, that allowed me to draw each of its shadows and highlight its appearance.
El coloreado lo hice utilizando color rojo para sus marcas y luego color gris, aplique diferente presión para así obtener las tonalidades, eso me permitió dibujar cada una de sus sombras y resaltar su apariencia.
After coloring it I proceeded to use watercolors for the background, I did not use black but rather used a mixture with blue so that the sky was different but reached the dark tone that I wanted, then I added the stars and finalized each of the details, that way way I got the result I wanted for my Vulguine. That's how I finished my artwork.
Después de colorearlo procedí a usar las acuarelas para el fondo, no utilice negro sino que use una mezcla con azul para que el cielo fuera diferente pero alcanzara la tonalidad oscura que quería, después agregue las estrellas y finalice cada uno de los detalles, de esa forma obtuve el resultado que quería para mi Vulguine. De esa forma termine mi artwork.
