Greetings friends of this Holozing community, I hope you are doing well and getting a lot of Zing from your delegations. I am excited as every day I am growing in the project and accumulating more Zing through my delegation. Today I want to share with you a watercolor of the sea whale which is one of my favorite creatures so far. With my children in their art classes I have learned different techniques and this moving watercolor is one of them.
Saludos amigos de esta comunidad de Holozing, esperando se encuentren muy bien y obteniendo bastante Zing de sus delegaciones. Yo estoy emocionada ya que cada día estoy creciendo en el proyecto y acumulando más Zing a través de mi delegación. El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una acuarela de la ballena marina que es una de las creaturas que más me gusta hasta los momentos. Con mis hijos en sus clases de arte me ha tocado aprender diferentes técnicas y esta de la acuarela en movimiento es una de ellas.
Materials / Materiales
- Hoja blanca / White Sheet
- Colores / Colors
- Pinturas a base de agua / Water-based paints
- Pinceles / Brushes
The process requires several steps, the first is to make the drawing to form a silhouette and then cut it out to serve as a base later to simulate the movement. This silhouette is pasted on a more solid surface to do the function over the original drawing, so I had to draw twice this time. Without it you can not achieve the effect of movement.
El proceso requiere de varios pasos, lo primero es realizar el dibujo para formar una silueta y luego recortarla para que sirva como base más adelante y poder simular el movimiento. Esta silueta se pega sobre una superficie más sólida para que haga la función sobre el dibujo original, así que tuve que dibujar dos veces en esta ocasión. Sin ella no se puede lograr el efecto de movimiento.
After I had the silhouette I made the drawing and started to work on it. The techniques I used were traditional painting with colors and then I painted with the water based paint to get the watercolor effect. The process is a lot of fun, you just have to be careful not to go off with the brushes while painting to avoid damaging the drawing because there is no way to fix it later. I will leave you some pictures so you can see the process for yourselves.
Después de tener la silueta hice el dibujo y comencé a trabajar sobre él. Las técnicas que use fueron pintura tradicional con colores y luego pinte con la pintura a base de agua para obtener el efecto acuarela. El proceso es muy divertido, solo hay que tener cuidado de no salirse con los pinceles mientras se pinta para no dañar el dibujo porque no hay forma de solucionarlo después. Les dejare algunas fotos para que ustedes mismos vean el proceso.
Result / Resultado
As you can see, the finish is very colorful, I wanted to make a shadow or a marine background but I preferred to leave it like that to not improvise, plus I really liked how it looked, and well friends of holozing, this has been all on this occasion.
Como podrán notar, es muy vistoso el acabado, quise hacerle una sombra o un fondo marino pero preferí dejarlo así para no improvisar, además que me gustó mucho como quedo, y bueno amigos de holozing, esto ha sido todo en esta ocasión.
