My Actifit Report Card: May 15 2026

Od czego by tu zacząć? Może od opisu serwisu 'wymieniono kasetę, łańcuch, kółeczka przerzutek, klocki hamulcowe, wykonano regulacje. Rower wymaga gruntownego remontu z uwagi na zużycie istotnych elementów', który chyba mnie zachęca do kupna nowego roweru. A potem co? A potem znój i trud połączony z nieplanowanymi fakapami. Jakimi zapytacie. Ano np odcięcie telefonu stacjonarnego, który znajduje się na moich wizytówkach, firmówce, mapsach i dziesiątkach różnych miejsc... Musiałem rzucić wszystko i iść do Orange, ale niestety nie załatwiłem tego. Bo numer pomimo odcięcia dalej jest przypisany (długa historia). W poniedziałek trzeba będzie zabrać starą komórkę i kupić po drodze nową kartę sim. Co mi się udało załatwić to internet, ale przez to że trzeba było tę usługę połączyć z jakąś kartą sim, to zyskałem abonament ale straciłem internet na budowie... Mam numer do babki z Orange, więc pewnie będę strugać pawiana.

Where should I even start? Maybe with the service report: “cassette replaced, chain replaced, derailleur pulleys replaced, brake pads replaced, adjustments performed. The bike requires a major overhaul due to wear of critical components” — which I guess is the mechanic’s subtle way of encouraging me to buy a new bike.
And then what? Then came toil and struggle combined with completely unplanned screw-ups. What kind, you ask? Well, for example, my landline phone got disconnected — the very number that’s printed on my business cards, letterhead, maps listings, and dozens of other places... I had to drop everything and rush to Orange Polska, but unfortunately I didn’t manage to sort it out. Because even though the number was disconnected, it’s still assigned somewhere in the system (long story).
On Monday I’ll have to take my old mobile phone with me and buy a new SIM card on the way. What I did manage to arrange was the internet service, but because they had to bundle it with some SIM card, I gained a subscription plan but lost internet access at the construction site...I do have the phone number of a lady from Orange, so I’ll probably end up clowning around and begging for help.
