I appreciate the kind words!

The fun is always what will set us apart from other crypto-based businesses or investments. I love when Aggroed points out that Dec and SPS are entertainment based currencies because that puts the focus on what's more important.

As a business, splinterland's first responsibility is to provide entertainment. I believe they do that well, but I didn't like how the last wave of proposals were really not focused on that at all. They felt like distractions and punching water. Overall I think the team has their head in the right place, but the tokenomics are strong. We don't need to force the price on anything.

Bilbo's words in The Lord of the Rings give me comfort: "'It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out of your door,' he used to say. 'You step into the Road, and if you don't keep your feet, there is no telling where you might be swept off to.'"

I agree that there have been many distractions, but I also realize this is the first time they've had to go through this at this scale. There's always a balancing act between tokenomics (defi issues) and the game (player issues). I personally want more focus on the game at this time, and my guess is they are now getting on that page too.

I agree the tokenomics are strong overall (except we need more voucher sinks like a voucher store where we can buy things with our vouchers). And yes there's no need to force anything, just put your head down and make sure people that show up want to stay because its a fun game to play! :)
