• I was a little disappointed seeing chests that does not contain cards, until I realize the mini jackpot 😄

Headlines

• More job cuts: Yahoo this time, laying off 1600 positions (20%)
• SEC cracked down on staking. Kraken to pay $30 million in fines
  • Apparently soliciting (offering) crypto holders to stake for a return (% yield) is treated as an investment offering
  • This sets a precedent for further regulations, this is good in my opinion
  • Remember Celcius, Voyager, and many crypt lenders offering ludicrously high yield to attract your deposit? That probably won't happen again with a CEX (so people won't get scammed again). When it's too good to be true, it often is
  • "Not your keys, not your cryptos" - Crypto holders should self-custody and staking via the official protocols
  • It may not always be possible with coins like ETH... but hey, ETH yield is crap anyways, you are better off keeping it liquid

Crypto Today - Another Dump

Bitcoin is down $600 since yesterday around this time

• Selfishly... I like this
• My main cashflow is still fiat, the cheaper crypto goes the more I get converting fiat to BTC
• Not in a rush to buy more, I still believe the economy is nowhere near the bottom and capital flow matters
• Everyone is so bullish, we are nowhere near capitulation
• The speed market recovered tells me this may be a bear market rally (bull trap)
• We are not climbing up the "wall of worry"
• Let's see, either way, I am good
• Nice to accumulate more, if I missed the boat, not the end of the world

HIVE followed BTC and dropped 2 cents

• Maybe I will be a buyer again for the March powerup if the price became very attractive again
• I am not interested in "defending" any technical level, whales can do it
• As a regular investor, I am a price taker ultimately, and I accept that

HIVE is is slightly down against BTC from yesterday's tiny green candle
