Splinterlands Daily Update

• Five champion chests for the last daily of the season
• One of the chests contained 48 SPS, better than expected
• It would be nice to get to Champion III earlier rather than on the last day
• I will be spending some time next year to review my deck and see what can be done to improve the win rate
• On that note, it helps looking at the battle replay and opponent's deck and understand what happened and if there's a card I don't have

Crypto Today, Winter Hibernation Continues For Another Day

HIVE dipped below 25 cents and have since recovered

• If the price continues to stay low, it will be a very good purchase for the January DCA
• The thing that concerns me the most at the moment, as an investor, is HIVE has low trading volume and depth
• For example, on Binance, a $100k USD market order, could push the price up to 33 cents, or down to 20 cents
• This means anyone holding a significant amount of HIVE is not able to sell a position quickly and cheaply
• Likewise, for someone who wants to get into HIVE, it is very expensive to pick up a significant amount quickly and cheaply

Do you think this is good or bad?

HIVE/BTC the same, that means BTC is stable still

BTC is forming a technical crab formation

• I like crab formation better than bear hibernation
• Hibernation sounds too bearish

SPS is flat (kind of)

• Splinterlands still is reporting 2.3 cents, but Hive-engine is showing 2.22 cents
• Over a million tokens got staked back, that's a good sign

GLX is up slightly from 0.116 SWAP.HIVE yesterday

Elden Ring, I Am The Dragon Slayer

• I did a quick farm for 2 levels today
• I am already over leveled, but I had to empty the runes in case a boss killed me and for whatever reason I couldn't beat it or get back to the spot to reclaim the runes
• Elden Ring makes you lose all your runes (gold/money) whenever you get killed. If you die again before you run back to the spot and pick it up, it is gone forever!

First try and killed the dragon

• Vigor... If you are playing Elden Ring, make sure you prioritize Vigor to 20 for starter and get to 40 ASAP. It makes a world of difference
• Dragon was squishy with double katanas (bleed build)

• What to do with the Dragon Heart?
• Apparently you are supposed to eat it at the altar, in exchange for a dragon spell (that I can't use, I am not building a Prophet right now)

• Yes, it can get bloody, I am not sure whose blood is on my armor...

As planned, I have wrapped up the noob area today. Onwards to main story tomorrow, or next year.

• By doing all the side quests, I have found a lot of interesting weapons and spirits
• Demi-Human Queen's Staff will be my next plaything, Samurai casting spell? You bet!
• I have to see if it is better than bow and arrows in certain situations
• One of the most amazing thing about Elden Ring is the flexibility. You can literally change your play style at any time as long as you have the stats to meet weapon's minimum requirements

Tomorrow may be a light gaming day, it is better to spend time with Family on New Year's Eve.
