Splinterlands Art Contest Week 281 | [ESP/ENG] Battle Orca

¡Hola comunidad de Splinterlands! Volviendo a la semana 281, decidí realizar una interpretación de la carta "BATTLE ORCAS". Me pareció una idea fantástica integrar mis nuevas técnicas para la implementación de estas orcas. Así que, sin más preámbulos, pasemos al proceso.

Hello Splinterlands community! Returning to week 281, I decided to create an interpretation of the "BATTLE ORCAS" card. I found the idea fantastic to integrate my new techniques for implementing these orcas. So, without further ado, let's dive into the process.

Para la representación de las orcas, tomé estas dos imágenes generadas y comencé a realizar el recorte con la herramienta pluma. Posteriormente, una vez recortadas, realicé un ajuste de tonalidad para igualar el color al fondo y evitar contrastes visuales. Luego, utilicé el desenfoque de campo en las extremidades para ocultar ciertos detalles y ajustar el enfoque visual hacia ellas.

For the representation of the orcas, I took these two generated images and started cutting them with the pen tool. Once cut out, I made a tonality adjustment to match the color to the background and avoid visual contrasts. Then, I used field blur on the limbs to hide certain details and focus the visual attention on them.

A diferencia de las imágenes anteriores, pueden observar que agregué un efecto de salpicadura que me ayudaría a dar el efecto de "splash", aplicando nuevamente el mismo efecto sobre el ajuste de color en sombras e iluminación. También utilicé efectos de desenfoque y borré algunas marcas adicionales.

Unlike the images above, you can see that I added a splash effect to give the impression of a splash. I applied the same effect over the color adjustment in shadows and highlights. I also used blur effects and erased some additional marks.

Para comenzar a armar el título, separé el texto "BATTLE" y, al estirarlo y colocarlo detrás de las orcas, me concentré en utilizar la herramienta de dedo para estirar sus extremos y darle ese efecto de absorción y desenfoque. También desenfocar el fondo ayudaría a mejorar la percepción de las orcas y el título. Luego, coloqué el texto "ORCA" debajo del agua, utilizando propiedades de capa y combinando los negros del fondo con el texto, al que se le adjudicó una tonalidad blanca.

To start building the title, I separated the text "BATTLE" and, by stretching and placing it behind the orcas, I used the smudge tool to stretch its ends and give it that absorption and blur effect. Blurring the background also helped enhance the perception of the orcas and the title. Next, I placed the text "ORCA" beneath the water, using layer properties and blending the blacks of the background with the text, which was given a white tone.

Para añadir un poco más de estilo, agregué un efecto de desgaste y ruido a la imagen, extendiéndolo y cubriéndolo en su totalidad. Luego, ajusté los niveles de negro para resaltar y destacar los detalles más marcados lo mejor posible. Además, copié parte del lore y lo coloqué en medio de las orcas para que se notara mucho mejor. En la segunda imagen, podrán observar con más detalle el uso de estos últimos detalles, que le dan otro aspecto de diseño y, sobre todo, realzan la imagen.

To add a bit more style, I added a worn and noisy effect to the image, extending and covering it entirely. Then, I adjusted the black levels to highlight and emphasize the marked details as best as possible. Additionally, I copied part of the lore and placed it in the middle of the orcas to make it stand out better. In the second image, you can observe more closely the use of these final details, giving it another design aspect and, above all, enhancing the overall look.
