I got the mix feelings when reading this news.
I know it will be better for the games to be launched faster but I don't know if Double Coconut will keep the same transparency to player like Splinterlands team is doing at the moment.
Time will tell later.

In fact, there are some difficulties when I use the Splinterlands mobile app. They are described clearly in your link. I installed the app and then uninstalled it later.
Yes, I used it a long time ago and especially for gulid activity it's not much fun. Yet now I better see how it's difficult to have a DeFi game in app stores. !invest_vote

These are my thoughts exactly. Double Coconut come from a different world. I would prefer to think that they will look at @splinterlands team and emulate what they have been doing.
