Hey guys, it's me again and yeah I know I'm posting a lot lately lol. Let's just say that the crypto mooning had got me excited and I'm using that to fuel my arts haha. For this week I decided to draw Immortalis, a character who seems to be inspired from the Greek God Zeus I think. You know what that means, yep lightning is involved which means it's time to make it glow haha. I feel like I did decent work on his hair this time because of the practice I got from drawing holozing creatures. Well you guys decide that for yourself:)

The Process

• Made a rough sketch using this pose reference from Pinterest.

• Painted the base colours.

• Painted the lighting on his hands and eyes.

• Shaded his clothes and hair according the main source of light which is the two big lightning from his hands.

• Painted the skin and mouth and adjusted the contrast on his clothes and hair.

• Added bounce light on his body and added two red glow on both of his hands for contrasting effect of red and blue. Alos added blue light around his body to show his power.

• Rendered his magic staff, added some hair stands on his hair and beard and made a background from the character itself by zooming in and adding blur on a n overlay layer.

• Added circular lighting orbs on both of his hands.

• Changed the colour of his staff, blurred the orbs, added lightning particles near him and added secondary bounce light on his clothes. After that I refined it a bit more and the painting was read to share :)
