Splinterlands Art Contest!

Hey guys!

It's been a while since I last posted in here. The short version is I got sick and that eventually lead to artblock and thats about it. I'm getting better now so I decided to participate for this week. I guess you can call this as a last minute submission haha. As for this week I decided to draw Lorna Shine. There was an attempt drawing this character in the past and it did not turn out well so I never posted XD. Today I tried again and it it worked. I think it's been more than 60 days since I painted so my skills are not at the best right now but I had to start somewhere right? Hope the muscle memory kicks in soon and so that I can remember everything I learnt so far. I'm glad I could post again on hive and participate in this contest so let me know what you think about my artwork in comments section below :)

The Process

I saved this Harley Quinn pose a while ago and it finally became useful today. I did changed the hand gesture/pose here because that orginal pose on this character just looked weird to me so I changed it to this one you see on the final version. I rushed a bunch of things in here because I wanted to post it before the deadline so I experimented with some brushes to get the desired effect in a short amount of time. Luckily I managed to pull it off before the deadline. I hope you guys like it and hopefully I can continue blogging as I used haha.

By the way I was working on something else as well and I'll be posting as soon as I get the permission to do so hehe.

Tools used: Ibis paint x, Notebook and Pencil
