Infurnal: The Power of Fire [ENG/ESP]

Hello friends, and hello Holozing community. I hope you are having a nice day. Today I return with new art, a new fan art featuring one of the most visually attractive and beautiful creatures in the Holozing universe. It is Infurnal with its characteristic fire power, but in my case I will be drawing its Radiant version, where the flames change from their normal red color to an intense blue. I hope you like this review of the character, and of course, as usual, I will share the drawing process from the beginning. If you are ready, let us welcome Infurnal and let us begin.

Hola amigos, y hola comunidad de Holozing. Espero que estén teniendo un lindo día. Hoy regreso con nuevo arte, un nuevo fan art que tiene de protagonista a una de las criaturas visualmente más atractivas y bonitas del universo de Holozing. Se trata de Infurnal con su característico poder del fuego, pero en mi caso estaré dibujando su versión Radiant, donde las llamas cambian de su color rojo normal a un azul intenso. Espero que les guste esta revisión del personaje, y por supuesto, como es costumbre, les compartiré el proceso de dibujo desde el principio. Si están listos, le damos la bienvenida a Infurnal y comenzamos.

This was my final result, but like every drawing it started with a sketch that I made several corrections to on the fly. And truth be told, since I started with fear, first because of the shape since I am not good at drawing animals, but little by little I felt more confident. I share with you a small animation in GIF format of my drawing process. I hope you enjoy it.

Este fue mi resultado final, pero como todo dibujo empezó con un boceto al que le hice varias correcciones sobre la marcha. Y la verdad, desde que comencé con miedo, primero por la forma ya que no soy bueno dibujando animales, pero poco a poco me sentí con más confianza. Les comparto una pequeña animación en formato GIF de mi proceso de dibujo. Espero lo disfruten.

So that was my first sketch. As you can see, I later made some changes because there were areas of the character's facial structure that did not convince me.

Así quedó mi primer boceto. Como ven, después le hice algunos cambios porque había zonas de la estructura facial del personaje que no me convencían.

Then, using the fine pen brush, I did the lineart. I tried to keep the strokes as fluid as possible, although I corrected some details afterwards.

Luego, utilizando el pincel de pluma fina, realicé el lineart. Traté de mantener los trazos lo más fluidos posible, aunque corregí algunos detalles después.

The skin tone of Infurnal in this version has blue highlights due to the black of its fur and the bounce light from its flames. I wanted to capture this in my drawing by adding many areas of light and reflections.

El tono de piel de Infurnal en esta versión tiene destellos de azules por lo negro del pelaje y las luces de rebote de sus llamas. Quise capturar esto en mi dibujo añadiendo muchas zonas de luces y reflejos.

I colored the white part of the fur with a tone closer to yellow, and I added the red details to the inside of Infurnal's little ears.

Coloreé la parte blanca del pelaje con un tono más cercano al amarillo, y di los detalles rojo del interior de las orejitas de Infurnal.

I really like the detail of Infurnal's very blue eyes.

Me gusta mucho el detalle de los ojos tan azules de Infurnal.

I left the coloring of the flames for last. I used a blue background color and on top in another layer I added loose white lines that I merged, and with the Gaussian blur effect I created the brightness or glow that stands out. All of this will contrast very well with the black background, a simple background but a character full of the power of fire, of a fire so pure that it burns blue.

Dejé el coloreado de las llamas para el final. Utilicé un color azul de fondo y encima en otra capa agregué líneas sueltas de color blanco que uní, y con el efecto de desenfoque gaussiano creé el brillo o resplandor que sobresale. Todo esto contrastará muy bien con el fondo negro, un fondo simple pero un personaje lleno de la fuerza del fuego, de un fuego tan puro que quema en azul.
