Have you ever looked at a Splinterlands card and thought:

“There is absolutely NO WAY I could live with this character.” 😂

Well… now it’s time to find out!

For this week’s community contest, we’re taking your favorite (or least favorite) Splinterlands cards out of the battlefield and into your home.

🏠 THE CARD ROOMMATE CONTEST

Your challenge is simple:

Pick ONE Splinterlands card and imagine that you have to live with them as your roommate for an entire year.

Now tell us what that would actually be like! 😂

Would they be an amazing roommate?

Would they completely destroy your house?

Would they eat your food?

Would they pay rent?

Would you actually become best friends?

Or would you be desperately searching for a new apartment after three days?

The choice is yours!

📝 WHAT TO DO

Create a PeakD post telling us about your life with your chosen Splinterlands roommate.

You can write your entry however you want, but here are some ideas to get you started:

🏠 What are they like to live with?

🍕 What do they eat?

💰 Do they actually pay rent?

🧹 Do they clean the house?

😴 Do they snore?

🎮 What do they do when they’re not battling?

🚿 What happens when they get the bathroom for an hour?

🐔 Do they bring their pets home?

💥 What happens when they get angry?

😂 What is the one thing they do that drives you absolutely insane?

❤️ What is the one thing that makes them a great roommate?

You don’t have to answer all of these — they’re just ideas!

The goal is to be creative and entertaining.

And remember, your roommate doesn’t necessarily have to behave exactly like they do in the game. You get to decide what they’re like!

😂 EXAMPLE

Let’s say I choose Furious Chicken.

My roommate: Furious Chicken

At first, I thought having a chicken as a roommate would be pretty easy.

I was wrong.

He wakes me up every morning at 4:30 AM by screaming directly outside my bedroom door. He has somehow learned how to open the refrigerator and now eats all of my eggs.

He doesn’t pay rent.

He also refuses to clean.

BUT…

Every time someone tries to break into the house, he immediately attacks them.

So I guess he’s basically my unpaid security system.

Would I renew his lease?

Absolutely not.

Would I recommend him as a roommate?

Also absolutely not.

Would I trust him to protect my house?

…yes. 😂

📜 RULES

1. Choose ONE Splinterlands card to be your roommate.

2. Create a PeakD post describing what life would be like living with them.

3. Your entry should be your own
   original creation.

4. Keep your entry focused on the roommate concept. The funnier, stranger, more creative, or more entertaining your scenario is, the better!

5. No image or video editing skills are required. A simple written story is completely fine! But of course a video or even imaging would be dope!

6. Post your entry on PeakD and include a link to your entry in the comments of this contest post.

7. Please include #splinterlands and #communitycontest in your entry so we can find it.

8. Up to two entries per person, you can only win one however.

9. Your chosen roommate must be an actual Splinterlands card.

10. Entries must be submitted before the contest deadline. Deadline is Wednesday August 19th!

🧑‍⚖️ HOW WILL WINNERS BE CHOSEN?

This isn’t about having the best writing skills.

I’m looking for the entries that make me think:

“I can actually picture this happening.” 😂

I’ll be judging entries based on:

🧠 Creativity

😂 Entertainment / Humor

🏠 How well you build the roommate scenario

✨ Originality

❤️ Overall enjoyment

You don’t need to write a huge novel.

Sometimes the funniest entry might only be a few paragraphs.

Make me laugh. Make me cringe. Make me wonder why this character is allowed to live in your house.

That’s what I’m looking for!
