💥 🔥 Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge! Fab Four! 🔥 💥
Hello, everyone! It's time for another Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge from Splinterlands. In this post, we will showcase one of the newest ruleset, the 'Fab Four' ruleset, where only up to four Units can be used in the battle. For this battle challenge, I will share a Brawl battle with GF Bronze League level caps. Let's take a closer look at the card I used to win in this ruleset and how it contributed to my team's victory.
For this battle, here are the specific rulesets and a mana cap to consider:
Rulesets:
Fab Four: Up to Four units can be used.
Taking Sides: Neutral Monsters may not be used in battles.
Up to Eleven: All Monsters have the Amplify ability.
Mana Cap: 23
Active Elements: Fire, Earth and Death
My Lineup:
Summoner: Obsidian
- Ability to Give to allies: All enemy Monsters have +1 Magic Attack
1st Position: Mycelic Slipspawn
-- This is my first monster with Taunt ability and costs 9 mana to be used. It will receive a +1 Magic Attack from Obsidian and has a thick HP suitable for a tank.
2nd Position: Goblin Psychic
-- This monster will also receive a +1 Magic Attack from Obsidian and will support Mycelic Slipspawn using its Tank Heal ability. It costs 6 mana to be used.
3rd Position: Regal Peryton
-- This 5-mana monster unit has Magic also and will receive +1 Magic Attack from Obsidian. Aside from its flying ability, it also has a speed of 6 which will make it harder to be hit by melee or ranged attack monsters.
Strategy: The strategy is quite simple because there is no de-buff or buff effects from the ruleset, however, the mana capacity is quite low, which is 23 only. With this, I have to make the most of out it by allocating each mana for the 4 selected monsters that I will use. I also have used only 3 monster units because I think that this line up will make the most of it.
The enemy used Tarsa to buff its allied units with +1 Melee Attack and +1 HP. Unlike my line up, the enemy used a Gladiator which is a formidable foe in Brawl Matches. The enemy used monsters with Armors but those will be useless against the magic attack of my monsters.
By the end of round 1, enemy Antoid Platoon was easily killed by Regal Peryton and Mycelic Slipspawn's magic attack.
In round 2, enemy Chimney Wallstop was able to defeat Mycelic Slipspawn and triggered its Bloodlust ability, however, its HP was not enough for my line up's magic attack power. So by the end of round 2, Chimney Wallstop was defeated.
By the end of round 3, only Technowizologist was left on the enemy side and was also easily defeated by Regal Peryton.
