Today was an exciting day for me as I made my way to the in-game store and purchased 10 packs of cards. These 10 packs I acquired were not just any packs; they were my ticket to participate in an exclusive event – the Grimbardun Smith card air drop. To be eligible for this Rebellion card, one had to purchase a minimum of 10 packs.

While waiting for the release of the Rebellion cards, let me share to you the latest eye candy of the upcoming Rebellion Card art.

An alien octopus with a magical attack is an intriguing concept. I believe it should have a Water element, given that octopuses are typically found in the sea, and the background features oceanic hues.

A red goblin must mean that this will have a Fire element. Considering its primary weapon is a baseball bat with lots of spikes, this one might be a melee type.

We have another goblin character, and this one looks like a boss. There is purple smoke coming from its tobacco, which might indicate a Death element. Also, since this one looks like a boss, it might stay in the background while its men fight on the front line, so I think it will be a support character with abilities like Heal, Repair, or Inspire.

The last one looks like an assassin and might have Sneak or Opportunity ability, and based on the colors used, I think it will also have a Death element. I really like the look of its eyes; they're kind of menacing and alluring at the same time.

These new Rebellion cards surely feature captivating and visually appealing artwork, and I can say that Splinterlands Card Art is improving quite a lot. Kudos to the Splinterlands team for having very dedicated and talented members. I think this really adds value to the game itself.

💥 The Rebellion set is the fifth core edition of Splinterlands and introduces new gameplay elements.
💳 Each Rebellion booster pack will contain five randomly selected cards, with at least one rare card guaranteed.
💰 The base price for a Rebellion booster pack is 5000 Credits or 5000 DEC, with discounts available using VOUCHER tokens.
🔥 The Untamed set will no longer be allowed in Modern format battles when the Rebellion set is released.
🎁 The top six accounts with the most Rebellion booster packs purchased during the presale will have the opportunity to design a Legendary Summoner card.
🏆 The top 250 accounts on the presale leaderboard will earn in-game titles based on their position.
🃏 Players who purchase Rebellion packs during the presale will receive two limited edition promo cards.
🔒 The airdrop system will be revamped with the introduction of "Conflicts," where players stake unopened Rebellion packs and cards to earn airdrop rewards.
🎮 The Rebellion set will introduce four new unit abilities: Armored Strike, Corrosive Ward, Flank, and Lookout.
🌟 Some of the Summoners in the Rebellion set will be dual-element, allowing them to summon cards from two elements on the same team.
