From our early days and humble beginnings to becoming a leading name in crypto gaming, this milestone is a testament to the passion and support of our community. The Road so Far
Six years ago, we set out to merge the excitement of collectible card games with the revolutionary potential of blockchain technology. Our goal was simple yet ambitious: to create a game that was not only fun, but also gave players true ownership of their digital assets. And each passing year, we’ve strived to innovate and improve—always driven by your feedback and enthusiasm.
We think we’ve grown into something truly special and can’t wait for what the future has in store: the completion of the revamped New Player Experience, Land 2.0, housing, player avatars, card skins, boss battles, and so much more!

To commemorate our first six years, we're kicking off a series of celebratory posts on X (formerly Twitter). Starting tomorrow, May 23nd, we'll take you on a trip down memory lane while spotlighting some of the best parts about Splinterlands: rapid-strategy battles, tournaments, abilities, rewards, cards, lore, artwork, Conflicts, our community members, and so much more.
Let's work together to spread the word. Use the hashtag #ageofthebattlemage on your Splinterlands posts. We want to hear your stories, see your favorite moments, and celebrate together. Vonak!
We're also giving away 335 Rebellion booster packs (retail value of $1,340) to 120 lucky winners who share, like, and comment on our anniversary posts. Keep your eye out for our meme and pic contests, too, and get your lore hats on for even bigger rewards. How well do you really know the Splinterlands? We're about to find out; may the best battle mage win!

Our anniversary posts will run through May 31st. You'll have about 48 hours after each post to share, like, and comment; after that, we'll pick our winners, so don't wait too long! On May 31st, we're gonna end things with a bang: a massive Modern Splinterlands Open tournament. No, not just massive. THIS IS THE BIGGEST TOURNAMENT OF THE YEAR, WITH A 1ST PLACE MEGA-JACKPOT OF 1 MILLION DEC AND THEN SOME!

Already 6 years old... time flies and the game has grown since the opening of Alpha packs. I remember getting the Crustacean King: "What am I going to do with this shrimp?" 😀 I still have it in my collection.

I've been on Splinterlands for over year but only been battling with any measure of success just this last week... I almost can't believe it, but after my initial battles a year ago being losses, something this week clicked.
In the current season this NOVICE here has advanced to Diamond II. It's been an absolute thrill!
