Closed beta Phase Two is coming!
And this is all leading up to the FULL RELEASE – we’re aiming for late Spring.
Remember: Anyone with 500 Nightmare Packs can get into the Haunted House today. And we will be opening it up to more players real soon, now.

Beta II Major Features

  • Much improved level balancing and more levels to try your hand at.
  • More variety of fiends and towers and spells.
  • Some nasty new fiends, like the horrendous WITCH class, with Bossy Witch Queens that will curdle your blood and cast spells that do things like cause towers to randomly misfire.

  • Many bugs from Beta Phase One fixed.

How Rewards Will Work

At a high level, we can share a bit more about how the reward system will work in Soulkeep:

  • Rewards will be given out in SPS, Legendary Potions, Gold Potions, and even full packs as rewards.
  • You can stack up on rewards with each and every game you play, as long as you have the proper cards and prerequisites. Oh… and as long as you don’t die!
  • The more waves you make it through without dying, the more you’ll earn. You can tuck tail and retreat between waves and keep any rewards you’ve earned, but you’ll miss out on the greater goodies.
  • Gold foil NFTs, higher level NFTs, and promo cards will be eligible for greater shares of rewards.
  • We will launch with ten leagues. Leagues get exponentially more difficulty and generally require higher-level NFT defenses to beat. The higher up you are as a league, the more shares of rewards you will earn.
  • To get to new leagues, you’ll need to a) Complete all the Standard “Gateway Levels”, which are hand-crafted and can be won using suggested towers. b) Collect enough Soul Tokens to open the portal and progress through.
  • Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary Soul Tokens will drop as you exterminate various rarities of fiends:

  • To earn enough Soul Tokens you can press your luck in “Free For All” mode, playing special levels with any Tower, Spell, or Hero you want and facing off against a random set of Battle Rules that make each wave increasingly challenging.

Looking forward to this all because i enjoyed the gameplay and was looking forward to seeing how you'd make it so that we would keep coming back for more and more and keep it fresh.

My only advice is your core userbase is likely not gonna jump on many promotions right about now... specially with a non-released game (aka assets can't be used etc) So go for it if you want to just hope you know what you're up against and how some of us whales will be sitting this one out even if it seems too good to be true our money is going elsewhere. You're competiting against another game... called splinterlands. hahaha

Would be awesome if you were able to promote the pack promotion to non-splinterlands players maybe their funds are tagged to go to land etc.

Anyway I'm still really excited about what you guys are doing. Best of luck.
p.s. try to incorporate GPT4 into helping with level creation, debugging, testing and perhaps saving some time on some code. Maybe we can push up that deadline a bit.

I am too occupied with @splinterlands at the moment with Land from one side and Rebellion getting ready along with another Mini Set. Soul Keep better keep their promotions spread around and away from these @splinterlands events. There are many investors like me who have been hit hard in the bear market unable to invest large amounts despite being sold on the project.

I used to have 500 pack but only 100 from the store and the 400 bought from the aftermarket and I was not able to play the game at launch so I just sold back my 500 packs and forgot about this game until we can finaly play it, then I'll reconsider buying more cards and packs.

I love TD games but only if I can play them so until this goes 100% live for everyone, I'm focusing my investement elsewhere. To be fair tho, you guys did deliver faster then lands and with better graphics and an actual game so kudos for your hard work and for being more efficient then the actual main game lol :)

I managed to pile on upgrades to my towers in which went over my available in-game "funds". Notice the -81 in the provided screenshot. I repeated this bug multiple times. I discovered this over a week back but forgot to report it. The earlier stages of game play worked great. As I got further in the game and the more action that was on-screen the harder it was for the old PC I was testing the SoulKeep game on to handle. On such stages when it came time to upgrade the towers sometimes there was a delay in doing so which allowed me to upgrade each and every tower before payment for the first tower upgrade was removed from my balance. The minus funds carries over into the next wave . The second tower upgrade "bug" I found was when the game freezes I could exit the game and upon returning to the game I will be brought back to the same level and towers that weren't upgraded to the MAX sometimes would be. On top of that sometimes towers that I already upgraded would be downgraded or at least be shown to be downgraded with the ability to upgrade them not being possible (when this happened I could still place down new towers and upgrade those but already placed towers could not be upgraded). I repeated these bugs multiple times from the account @monstercrusher. If you have any questions fire away.
