Survival Mode is getting a major upgrade for Season 4. (March 30, 2026)

ποΈ NEW: Glint Tournament Token & Champions Cup
This is one of the biggest additions to Survival Mode.
Top players wonβt just earn rewards β theyβll earn access to an exclusive tournament.

β³ Event runs for 2 days after the season ends
This is where top players across all brackets come together and compete at the highest level.

- One entry per human / household / family
- No bots or automation
- Violations can result in maximum penalties

- Non-transferable
- One-time use
- Automatically burned after the event

π΄ Survival Bonus Card (SBC)
A new collectible reward is introduced. We will be testing out the introduction of a Survival Bonus Card as an additional bonus. Initially we are putting out a very modest number of these cards so we can judge the effectiveness of the plan. If successful, we might increase the distribution rates and/or add more cards to the program.

Play 100+ matches AND end with a 50%+ winrate = Earn 1 card

Abilities
Flying
+25% chance to evade physical attacks. No effect if the attacker also has Flying. Immune to Earthquake.
Enrage
+50% melee power and speed (rounded up) if not at full health.
Scavenger
+1 health and max health each time any unit is defeated.
Life Leech
Increases health and max health by 50% of damage dealt (rounded up).
Bloodlust
+1 to all stats after dealing a killing blow.

Because I don't want to play manually and I think I'd have to pay the bot service too much if there are no SPS rewards. That said, Splinterhub is waiving the fees for a season, so I'm giving it a shot to see how it goes.
Well balanced rewards for Survival mode. We all need more glints. Awesome reward card too. I will definitely play this mode.

I am loving the recent changes. Keep it up. Survival Mode is exciting and I love it.
The removal of leagues, I'm sorry to say, was a bizarre and unforgivable betrayal of the core values and initial design of the game. Splinterlands hasn't been the same in years now BUT this one change to Survival mode is exactly what I personally wanted to see from the game.
Other than tournaments there's not really a very competitive scene at the moment but now players of all levels will potentially have a fun and fair environment to compete in and look forward to every season. I'm very excited and curious to see how it shapes out!

You must do something similar for the main game mode too now, the experience there is unfair and utterly unenjoyable. I know there's challenges with match liquidity and such but any change that will bring us closer to having leagues or brackets or whatever you wanna call them will be a good change. Bring this same philosophy to Modern Ranked and the game will finally be FAIR and FUN again!
As soon as we feel we have the liquidity bots dialed in properly, then we will definitely incorporate the latest prop that passed regarding the leagues. Also hopefully we can add a few more things that we are going to learn from Survival Mode as well.

Good to see that the proposal for Modern passed with a comfortable majority. A lot of bickering as usual around some details that affect everyone's bottom lines but ultimately it seems that the community very much agrees with the spirit of the proposal, which is great.

What will the prizes be in the Champion's Cup? More Glint? SPS? Cards? What?
I'm just trying to determine why a scholar would play Survival. Or won't they?
@clayboyn is handling that aspect, but there will be a 10m Glint prize pool in that tourney. H
