War Begins

A united armada of the Splinterlands sails for Praetoria to defend against the Chaos Legion’s invasion. There are at least a hundred ships, and maybe more.

Riklauniman, a ranger from Anumun, rode a tower griffin across the seas to join the fight on one of the ships.

As the armada approaches Praetoria, they see Mount Praetorous with massive tentacles writhing from it. Along the coast, the ships of the Chaos Legion raise their flags and sail forth to meet them.

A massive naval battle ensues. The armada of the Splinterlands is obliterated. The tower griffin swoops down to rescue Riklauniman, and the two escape.

A united armada was no match for the Chaos Legion.

If the Splinters turn their defenses inward, they will have no hope of winning alone. Riklauniman vows to warn them that Chaos is here.
