HELHEIM DEMON

Good day @splinterlands community! How's your day? It's been a long time after returning to art again. Today I'll gonna present you how to draw an iconic demon character (Helheim Demon) which is one of the new Splinterlands characters. This death card is one of the powerful cards because of its abilities. But what makes it more valuable? Its rebellion edition: the new and the trend edition. Isn't it captivating? The Card Used as Inspiration and its Lore

Hailing from an infernal realm that found its end in the belly of the dark god Uul, Helheim demons joined the legions of Chaos under the heel of the archfiend Barashkukor. Now, these manifestations of death and decay serve in the archfiend’s legion of demons, where they enjoy nothing better than spreading the cold embrace of mortality.

And with resistance rising in the Splinterlands, they get plenty of opportunity to do what they enjoy.

The Process

All Steps in 5 Phases

Phase 1

I initiate the art by doing a simple sketch. I just use a constant size of thickness in the line and adjust both ends. By that the sketch turned out good.

Phase 2

This time I've colored the body of the character as well as the wings. But I'm not certain about the dark color on its wings. I'm complicated if I'll use a single color to the body and wings.

Phase 3

Now I'm starting to color the garments of the character. It's only a simple color. All the colors are just plain and ready for finalization.

Phase 4

Now shading is applied. Which means that the it was the finalization of the character.

Phase 5

The last frame should be the integration of the background and adding some power or magic effects. Everything is now solid!
