Hello again #splinterlands fans! @star-shroud back again from the @shield-of-glory guild. 🛡️ This edition of the BRAWLS OF STEEL report will be cover all the latest on our guild's most recent brawl battle ⚔️

As far as we know, the much anticipated brawl system reboot has still yet to materialize ❓ and we're not just talking SPS rewards, but some real restructuring to the system itself, especially the higher tier frays. In that case, we stayed TIER 2 once again this cycle 👑🏅 Despite that, our losing streak extended to 3 cycles, just barely getting edged out by THE ANTI SOCIAL CLUB who took first place. Congrats to those extreme introverts on fighting a great brawl--the best of the worst! 💪

It was a tough battle but since we only lost by a few wins, we still got a relatively good haul of rewards with 60 crowns 👑 and 3750 merits 🏅

With that, we finally have enough crowns to build our LEVEL 7 STORE! The question we've been debating though, is whether it makes sense to level the store now, with the goal of getting to a level 8 store asap (POWER STONES!) or whether certain arena and barracks upgrades (e.g., UNLOCKING SILVER LEVEL GLADIUS CARDS) are a better investment, especially if we decide to move up to TIER 3 brawls. The debate continues and for now, we'll hold the crowns in the guild's war chest until a decision is reached.

SoG's TOP 5 (THIS BRAWL)

Our TOP 5 this brawl cycle included a duo of sweeps from our fearless leader @zagorlord in Fray 15 (5-0; W/L=100%) and 🧹 @azircon in Fray 16 (5-0; W/L=100%) 🧹 It also included a trio of 1-loss performances by SoG's newest member @joscha in Fray 8 (7-1; W/L = 87%) 💪 @petroni7 in Fray 4 (6-1; W/L = 85%) 🔥 and @ducecrypto in Fray 14 (6-1; W/L=85%) ⚔️

In looking through our brawl battles this cycle, this 14 mana "super-sneak/odd ones out" match here from @rogerkitkit really caught our attention! 💪 fire 🔥, life ❤️ and dragon 🐲 were the available splinters.

Not only did rogerkit play an interesting lineup featuring CHAOS AGENT and DRAGON SPIRIT but legendary dragon GLADIUS card LARISSA KERATO really stole the show. With her double-strike magic attack, she just cleared the board. When she reaches max level (see below) and gets blast and dispel, she'll be, like, really tough to deal with! This battle is the inspiration for the title art (go back up and look! 👀)

SoG's TOP 3 (LAST 35x BRAWLS)

When it comes to overall winrate, our newest guildmember @joscha jumped right into the #1 spot with a winrate of 85% 🥇 of course, this after only one brawl ... but if he can keep it up for 34 more brawls in a row ... wow, then we're going to be really excited he joined! @vugtis 🐳 dropped to the #2 spot accordingly, with a winrate now at 76.93% across the last 35 brawls 🥈 @zagorlord 🐳 comes in at #3, improving his winrate to 74.43% 🥉 and @azircon 🐳 remains close at #4, also improving his winrate to an impressive 71.81%
