Welcome back #splinterlands fans! @star-shroud here from the @shield-of-glory guild 🛡️ After a short hiatus, we are back with our BRAWLS OF STEEL report. This edition will cover all the latest on our guild's most recent brawl battle ⚔️

We stayed TIER 2 again this brawl. For now, our guild is still waiting to see a viable TIER 3 ecosystem emerge before we try advancing again. But things may change quickly depending on the upcoming re-re-re-reboot of the rewards system 👑🏅 More on that in a future report. In the meantime though, we had a wild and crazy time fighting it out with some other highly talented guilds! In fact--in an incredibly close finish--SoG was just edged out by the great folks over at HYDRA KIDS HYDRA WIFE. Congrats to them on a great brawl!

This was our guild's first non-1st place finish in a while. Even so, because only just a few wins separated second from first, we still ended up with a nice bounty of 60 crowns 👑 and 3750 merits 🏅

Our TOP 5 brawl performances included a trio of sweeps from @xSuiLx (7-0; W/L=100%) 🧹 @vugtis (6-0; W/L=100%) 🧹 and @azircon (5-0; W/L=100%) 🧹 our fearless leader @Zagor (5-1; W/L=83.3%) 💪 and @gregory-f (8-1; W/L=88.9%) who had the most overall wins for the guild this brawl 🔥

Although @shadowwolf888 didn't have his best brawl this time around--and believe me, we teased him mercilessly about it on our guild discord all day--he still turned in this amazing bloodlust fueled-win here ⚔️ In a 24 mana reverse-speed/up close & personal battle, shadow used TARSA to summon both GRUM 🔥 and a gold foil CHIMNEY 🔨 This 1-2 punch did not disappoint 🤜 In fact, THIS BATTLE INSPIRED THE TITLE ART FOR THIS REPORT (go back up and look!) 👀 Fire, life, death and dragon were the available splinters.

In another strong performance, @ducecrypto used OWSTER to summon his gold foil LIZA FOX in a 58 mana fog of war/close-range battle. In the end though, it was LIRA THE DARK that did most of the heavy lifting! You can check out duce's win here ⚔️ All splinters were available except dragon.

Overall, vugtis 🐳 still holds the #1 brawler ranking in our guild, with a winrate of 75.29% across the last 35 brawls 🥇 However, zagor has been slowly catching up and is now only a few percenatge points away at 72.46% 🥈 azircon comes in third with a winrate of 68.93% 🥉

The end of season report has been completely revamped during our brief hiatus, and will now be a collaboration between SHIELD OF GLORY and other top splinterlands guild CARDS OF FURY 🤝 It should include a substantial amount of new data on brawl results mined from the depths of the hive blockchain by CARDS OF FURY guild-leader @moros 🧠 Our hope is to provide a consistent and concise way to digest brawl results from all the top guilds and players each season!
