Splinterlands is a card game running on HIVE blockchain, formerly known as Steem Monsters. In Splinterlands, players compete in duels with their own cards and varying rules. Each card has a financial value, they are in fact in-game NFTs, so each card is unique. Cards can be bought and resold in the marketplace.

End-of-Season Rewards
There are two ways to earn rewards in Splinterlands, participating in daily quests and finishing seasons in a good position. Seasons last for 14 days, players have to challenge other opponents and based on the victories you will climb a leaderboard. This season I made it to the GOLD I league. By finishing the season in this league I received 28 rewards.
In these rewards were SPS tokens, alchemical potions and 12 cards, among which 4 were Epic cards.
The Epic cards I received were:
REVEALER: Epic card of the element of death, card value $0.13 (level 1)
TIDE BITER: Epic card of the water element, card value $0.12 (level 1)
LAVA LAUNCHER: Epic card of the water element, card value $0.11 (level 1)
DJINN RENOVA: Epic card of the water element, card value $0.12 (level 1)

Daily missions
In Splinterlands there is a chance to receive rewards every day. To receive these rewards you must participate in daily missions. The missions are listed in a box on the right side of the main screen. In the screenshot below it is indicated (see arrow and red rectangle).

Below are the rewards I received a few days ago:
Gargoya Lion, common card of the neutral element
1,165 SPS tokens
7 alchemical potions
1 BLOOD MAKER card: common card of the fire element. This card is currently on the market for sale at a price of $100.

Purchasing a card.
Today I purchased DAX PARAGON, a card of the life element. The life element cards I own are pretty good, but I decided to make this purchase because this card has a very low mana cost. With such a low mana cost, this card could be useful to me in challenges where the total mana cost is low, so it could give me a chance to field an extra card in those situations.
Characteristics of DAX PARAGON:

Hire a card
Today I rented a card that I usually do not use in battles, FLYING SQUID (gold card).
This level 3 gold card has an Est. Value of $0.99 and a POWER of 125.
The platform suggested that I put the card for rent for 0.759 DEC per day, I entered a slightly lower price, i.e. 0.75 DEC per day. I will now stand by waiting for this card to be useful to someone and for this person to be willing to rent it. If this happens I will receive a reward of 0.75 DEC per day.

Purchasing a Gladius package.
Gladius cards cannot be used in daily battles, but can only be used in BRAWLS, challenges that are done between player associations. These cards can be purchased with MERITS, coins that are distributed at the end of BRAWLS. The further one's player association advances in the rankings, the more Merits are distributed to players in the association.
A pack of Gladius cards costs 2000 MERITS.

Today I purchased a pack of Gladius cards and found the following cards:

Splinterlands è un gioco di carte che gira su blockchain HIVE, precedentemente conosciuto come Steem Monsters. In Splinterlands i giocatori si sfidano a dei duelli con le proprie carte e con delle regole variabili. Ogni carta ha un valore finanziario, sono infatti NFT di gioco, quindi ogni carta è unica. Ricompense di fine stagione
In Splinterlands ci sono due modi per guadagnare le ricompense, partecipare alle missioni giornaliere e concludere in una buona posizione le stagioni. Le stagioni durano 14 giorni, i giocatori devono sfidare gli altri avversari ed in base alle vittorie che si otterranno, si scalerà una classifica. In questa stagione sono arrivato alla lega GOLD I. Finendo la stagione in questa lega ho ricevuto 28 ricompense.
In queste ricompense c’erano token SPS, pozioni alchemiche e 12 carte, tra cui 4 erano carte Epiche.
Le carte epiche che ho ricevuto erano:
REVEALER: carta Epica dell’elemento morte, valore carta 0,13$ (livello 1)
TIDE BITER: carta Epica dell’elemento acqua, valore carta 0,12$ (livello 1)
LAVA LAUNCHER: carta Epica dell’elemento acqua, valore carta 0,11$ (livello 1)

Missioni giornaliere
In Splinterlands c’è la possibilità di ricevere delle ricompense ogni giorno. Per ricevere queste ricompense bisogna partecipare alle missioni giornaliere. Le missioni sono elencate in un riquadro sulla destra della schermata principale. Nello screenshot qui sotto è indicato (vedi freccia e rettangolo rosso).

Qui di seguito le ricompense che ho ricevuto qualche giorno fai:

1 carta BLOOD MAKER: carta comune dell’elemento fuoco. Questa carta attualmente è in vendita sul mercato ad un prezzo di 010$

Acquisto di una carta
Oggi ho acquistato DAX PARAGON, una carta dell'elemento vita. Le carte che posseggo dell’elemento vita sono piuttosto buone, ma ho deciso di fare questo acquisto perchè questa carta ha un costo mana molto basso. Con un costo mana così basso questa carta potrebbe essermi utile nelle sfide dove il totale del costo mana è basso, quindi potrebbe darmi la possibilità di schierare una carta in più in quelle situazioni.

Noleggio di una carta
Oggi ho messo messo a noleggio una carta che solitamente non uso nelle battaglie, FLYING SQUID (gold card).
Questa carta Gold di livello 3 ha un Est. Value di 0,99$ e un POWER di 125.
La piattaforma mi suggeriva di mettere a noleggio la carta per 0.759 DEC al giorno, io ho inserito un prezzo leggermente inferiore, cioè 0.75 DEC al giorno. Ora rimarrò in attesa che questa carta possa essere utile a qualcuno e che questa persona sia intenzionata a noleggiarla. Se questo accadrà riceverò una ricompensa di 0.75 DEC al giorno.

Acquisto di un pacchetto Gladius
Le carte Gladius non possono essere usate nelle battaglie quotidiane, ma possono essere usate solo nelle BRAWLS, sfide che si fanno tra associazioni di giocatori. Queste carte si possono acquistare con i MERITS, monete che vengono distribuite alla fine delle BRAWL. Più la propria associazione di gioco avanza in classifica e più Merits vengono distribuiti ai giocatori dell’associazione.
Un pacchetto di carte Gladius costa 2000 MERITS.

Oggi ho acquistato un pacchetto di carte Gladius ed ho trovato le seguenti carte:

Conclusioni
Splinterlands è uno dei giochi blockchain play to earn di maggior successo. Secondo DappRadar oggi Splinterlands occuperebbe la settima posizione tra i giochi blockchain più popolari dell’ultimo mese. Splinterlands ha un team di sviluppatori molto bravi che aggiornano la piattaforma di gioco continuamente, questo gioco secondo me diventerà ancora più popolare.
