Strategy

The Unprotected rule usually gives the fire splinter an advantage against other splinters, especially the earth splinter.
Taking this into account I anticipated that my opponent would also use the fire splinter so I try to adapt my formation so that he has an advantage.

(La regla de Unprotected suele darle ventaja a la splinter de fuego contra otras splinters, especialmente la splinter earth.

Why do I use the Disintegrator?

Knowing that my opponent was very likely to use the fire splinter and that the main attack of this splinter is melee, the disintegrator seemed like a good option to try to dominate the game.

(Sabiendo que era muy probable que mi oponente utilice la splinter de fuego y que el principal ataque de esta splinter es melee, el disintegrator me parecio una buena opcion para intentar dominar la partid)

Round 1

The enemy uses Spark Pixies to protect his Serpentine Spy, which is not a bad option since there is a good chance that my attack will be dodged given the good speed of the Spark Pixies added to his fly ability, however this time my Serpentine destroys them on the first turn with no problem.
