#29 Wood Nymph - Splinterlands Art Contest (ENG/ DE)

I wish you wonderful people all the best and hope you are well doing so far?

This week I'm contributing my interpretation of "Wood Nymph" to the Splinterlands Art Contest.

Since I hate painting hair to death, I took this one in particular as a focus this time and found the Wood Nymph to be very suitable for creating a voluminous mane. Let me tell you, it took me forever to finish.

I wanted to stop during the process because I didn't feel like drawing the hairstyle, but I stayed disciplined and proud of it!

My motivation were the great drawings of the other fantastic artists here, because after all I wanted to try my best to make progress as well and present it to you. I myself am also really proud of my drawing. Hope you like it too. Here are a few individual steps of the emergence.

Ich wünsche euch wunderbaren Leuten alles Liebe und hoffe es geht euch gut soweit?

Diese Woche trage ich meine Interpretation der "Wood Nymph" zum Splinterlands Art Contest bei.

Da ich es bis aufs Blut hasse Haare zu malen, nahm ich dieses speziell diesmal als Fokus und fand die Wood Nymph sehr geeignet, um eine voluminöse Mähne zu erschaffen. Ich sage euch, es hat ewig gedauert bis ich fertig war.

Ich wollte während des Prozesses schon abbrechen, da ich keine Lust hatte, die Frisur zu zeichnen, doch ich bin diszipliniert geblieben und stolz drauf!

Meine Motivation waren die grandiosen Zeichnungen von den anderen fantastischen Künstlern hier, denn immerhin wollte ich versuchen mein Bestes zu geben, um ebenfalls Fortschritte zu machen und diese euch auch präsentieren. Ich selbst bin auch echt mal stolz auf meine Zeichnung. Hoffe euch gefällt es auch. Hier ein paar einzelne Schritte der Entstehung.

To finish the sketch by its own it took me a day with a lot of delated tryings.

Alleine die Skizze hat mich schon einen Tag gekostet. Viele Versuche hatte ich gelöscht und neu gezeichnet bis es endlich so war wie ich wollte.

The coloring took another day and while. So muchh hair need a bit different shades of green.

Das ausmalen hat auch wieder einen Tag gekostet, doch bei der Masse an Haare wollte ich verschiedene Grüntöne benutzen.

This time I finished the blackoutlines at least. Normally I create them first.

Dieses mal habe ich die schwarzen Outlines am Ende vollendet, das mache ichh normalerweise nach dem ersten Sketch, doch diesmal habe ich es ans Ende gepackt.

To translate 1-1 my german native I used deepl.com. After I edited and corrected some parts because deepl.com couldn't translate all slang words perfectly. Just wanted to make this clear too.
