Hello, beautiful people. For the first time I'll be posting a Splinterlands FanArt, I hope you like it. I'm drawing in digital after several weeks so I'm a bit rusty.

Hola, gente linda. Por primera vez estaré publicando un FanArt de Splinterlands, espero que les guste. Estoy dibujando en digital después de varias semanas así que estoy un poco oxidada.

Splinterlands has a wide variety of characters so I was a bit undecided on what to draw, but in the end I decided on River Nymph mostly for aesthetics and her nice color palette.

I did some research on the lore of the card and it turns out that River Nymphs are usually shy and solitary beings, who have a great respect for life and are extremely territorial. A bit contradictory to their appearance, but interesting.

Splinterlands tiene una gran variedad de personajes así que estaba un poco indecisa sobre que dibujar, pero al final me decidí por River Nymph más que nada por estética y su linda paleta de colores.

Investigue un poco sobre el lore de la carta y resulto que las ninfas de rio suelen ser seres tímidos y solitarios, que poseen un gran respeto por la vida y que son extremadamente territoriales. Un poco contradictorio a su apariencia, pero interesante.

I began by making a sketch in PaintTool Sai, which I modified several times because I was not convinced by the face, and then I passed the sketch to Krita for coloring. First, I placed what would be the base colors, I didn't want them to be exactly the same so I varied them until I was convinced.

Comencé realizando un boceto en PaintTool Sai, el cual modifiqué en varias ocasiones ya que no me convencía el rostro, y posteriormente pasé el boceto a Krita para realizar el coloreado. Coloqué primeramente los que serían los colores base, no quería que fueran exactamente iguales así que los fui variando hasta que me llegaran a convencer.

After adding all the base colors I started to add lights and shadows on the skin and I made several changes to the hair, since I wasn't sure what the movement would be. And I was detailing the eyes, lips and clothes.

Después de añadir todos los colores base comencé a añadir luces y sombras sobre la piel y fui haciendo varios cambios al cabello, ya que no estaba muy segura de cuál sería el movimiento. Y fui detallando los ojos, labios y ropa.

The background was the one that suffered the most changes since I had no idea what I wanted to do, but in the end I decided to make something simple but beautiful.

El fondo fue el que más sufrió cambios ya que no tenía ni idea de lo que quería hacer, pero al final resolví hacer algo sencillo pero bonito.
