Just finished watching the video and it's a good try but I'm not sure it will work out. I think Matt said he wanted people to have certain amount of sps staked and do away with collection power on the last Town Hall I saw. So How will the removal of collection power affect your method? Assuming these bot farmers are loaded they can easily go and stake sps across all their bots and never have to worry about it again if that happens or they can move into Modern format which will be released in a few hours and save even more money by using 50% of the power from before which will probably lead them to creating even more bots, 2x? I think it's an idea in the right direction but I dont think as a stand alone that work. Not sure what else you can use to compliment this with but I appreciate the content.

Its an interesting suggestion. I wonder how much of the card market is also being held up by these bot farms though. I know they make up most of the rental market.

@synist3r this made a ton of sense to me - I could totally see this concept working to curb the problem.

The other idea I had was to apply ECR to Rating as well, so as accounts grind tons of battles, their rating increase would be influenced by their ECR... if they should go up 40 points on a win, they go up 10 if ECR is 25% for instance.

This would theoretically have a similar impact as capping the max games and tie Win Rate's importance into fully leveraging ECR etc...

Either way - I like the idea ;)
