Holly shit, not only is the botting a real problem eating most of the rewards... they control most of the card market!

(Now i know why rentals are so expensive, stupid bots.)

man those renting prices... you're renting them CP for almost nothing :p hahaha. The worse is I don't think we can do anything now... Bots are too powerful, they got too much CP/SPS airdrop, they weight too much in the overall economy. As you already pointed out, every would crumble if we'd remove bots. I think you have to either be here for the money (sell everything/rent as the bots are doing) or be here for the game and accept your asset will lose value over time.
So far, I could only think of those 2 ways to reducing bots impact

  1. Stop buying any farmable assets (Rewards til they are being printed, sps til airdrop is live, and to some extend CL cause packs are in loot chest), Those will only lose value as bots generate a mass supply. They generate SPS through airdrops with the the CP they have. If you buy those, accept they'll keep losing value until the.
  2. Correctly price your renting cards.. otherwise you're giving bots a freepass. I myself don't rent anything under 150 CP/DEC anymore

I'm arbing the rental market. I get a better deal on the rental market than I rent out. I used to keep a general policy of honoring long term rentals and letting users lock in the price. Now, if I see that if it is a bot in a bot farm, I'll cancel and raise the prices. Non-bot farmers get to lock in low early season rental prices for an entire season.

It's all about WHO is renting the cards.

I'm with you on this one. I find the whole situation pretty depressing. Right now I just want it to be over and done with. Bring in the new reward system so we can all stop speculating and see what difference it actually makes.

Sobering (and depressing). I find it sad that bot farms are extracting so much value from the game and the potential sheer volume of them puts them in control. It's a bad combination and one I hope the new rewards system will address. Sharing this on https://twitter.com/PraetoriaDigest.
