[ENG/ESP] Lens case.

Hello #Diyhub friends! Today I want to show you a case I made for my glasses, inspired by one of the Splinterlan cards called "The Lion Gargoyle". I chose the gargoyle because I really liked that it was a lion, as it conveys strength, it's one of the abilities of this card, although in speed it doesn't look much like me because it's a bit slow.
Next, I will show you the materials I used to make the pencil case and explain step by step how I made it.
Materials:

Gray and yellow foami
Brown wick yarn
Beige yarn
Liquid silicone
Scissors
Needle
Measuring ruler
Paper
Pencil

¡Hola amigos de #Diyhub! Hoy quiero mostrarles un estuche que elaboré para mis lentes, inspirado en una de las cartas de Splinterlan llamada "La Gárgola León". Escogí la gárgola porque me gustó mucho que fuera un león, ya que transmite fuerza, es una de las habilidades de esta carta, aunque en velocidad no se parece mucho a mí porque es un poco lenta.
A continuación, les mostraré los materiales que utilicé para elaborar la cartuchera y les explicaré paso a paso cómo la hice.
Materiales:

Foami gris y amarillo
Hilo pabilo marrón
Hilo estambre beige
Silicón líquido
Tijeras
Aguja
Regla de medida
Papel
Lápiz

To make the pencil case, the first thing I did was to draw the gargoyle based on the card I chose, trying to make it as similar as possible.

Para elaborar la cartuchera, lo primero que hice fue dibujar la gárgola fijándome en la carta que escogí, tratando de que quedara lo más parecida posible.

Then, with the help of the measuring ruler, I made a rectangle of 15 x 16 cm and a smaller one of 15 x 8 cm, the larger rectangle will be for the envelope and the smaller one will be a pocket in which I will place the cloth to clean the lenses.

Después, con ayuda de la regla de medida, elaboré un rectángulo de 15 x 16 cm y otro más pequeño de 15 x 8 cm, el rectángulo más grande será para el sobre y el pequeño será un bolsillo en el cual colocaré el paño para limpiar los lentes.

I scratched the sheet where I drew the gargoyle on the back with the pencil so I could transfer it to the smaller foami rectangle.

Rayé la hoja donde dibujé la gárgola por la parte de atrás con el lápiz para poder transferirla al rectángulo de foami más pequeño.

Once the gargoyle was transferred, I drew the upper part.

Una vez transferida la gárgola, dibujé la parte superior.

Then, stitch the whole figure along the edge with the brown wick thread, being very careful because the needle is large and can open holes in the foami.

Luego, di puntadas a toda la figura por el borde con el hilo de pabilo marrón, con mucho cuidado porque la aguja es grande y puede abrir huecos en el foami.

After finishing the figure, I cut with scissors the upper part of the rectangle to give it the desired shape.

Después de terminar la figura, corté con las tijeras la parte superior del rectángulo para darle la forma deseada.

I painted the gargoyle's eyes on the yellow foami, cut them out and glued them using liquid silicone, leaving ready the first piece that will be the pocket where I will place the cloth to clean the glasses.

Pinté los ojos de la gárgola en el foami amarillo, los recorté y los pegué utilizando el silicón líquido, dejando lista la primera pieza que será el bolsillo donde colocaré el paño para limpiar los lentes.

Afterwards, I sewed the entire edge with a scallop stitch using the beige worsted yarn.

Posteriormente, cosí todo el borde con una puntada de festón utilizando el hilo de estambre beige.

Then, I joined the finished piece to the large rectangle with the same scallop stitch, as I will be working the entire edge of the envelope with this stitch.

Luego, uní la pieza terminada al rectángulo grande con la misma puntada de festón, ya que con esta puntada voy a trabajar todo el borde del sobre.

I folded the large rectangle in half, joining the three pieces with the same stitch all around the edge.

Doblé el rectángulo grande a la mitad, uniendo las tres piezas con la misma puntada en todo el borde.

Here you can see how the case has turned out. In the front compartment, which is the smallest, is the cleaning cloth, and in the back compartment are the lenses in an orderly fashion.

Aquí pueden ver cómo ha quedado el estuche. En el compartimento de adelante, que es el más pequeño, va el paño para limpiarlos, y en el de atrás irán los lentes de manera ordenada.
