When I first started playing Splinterlands originally , I asked in a chat with the "boys" about which summoner can I use with everything and I remember @azircon saying;
There will never be a neutral summoner.

There were only about 700 on offer to the public (1000 in total) though, so it was never expected to last long, especially being the first Neutral Summoner so far. I am not even sure it is going to be a good summoner, but at least she is versatile, even though she is otherwise...

Probably a bit of a bit player and kind of gives the vibe of an "oldschool" legendary summoner, with nothing that fancy on offer. But, being able to play across the board might make it worth it and perhaps for rentals, it could be a decent choice for someone looking to cover their bases a bit. I will have to experiment to see if I can get a win out of it.
Any tips on how?
I can't test it now anyway, as even though the season has restarted, I finished in C3 a couple days ago in both modern and wild formats and decided to rent all my cards out for the finish, as I am so busy with work. Tomorrow though, I should have all my cards back (the last is Kitty and I don't want to play without) and might have a couple hours to kill during work time, which is rare. As I have been putting in 12-14 hour days for the last few weeks, I am not even going to feel bad about it.
I don't know what my strategy is this season, but last season I felt myself struggling to break into Champion 3 so once I was there, I didn't want to risk sliding back. I wish I had the confidence to just keep playing and seeing if I can get into C2, but I just don't have it at the moment. Last season too far too many games to get into Champions, but it seems that this is the only way I am going to make it. my efficiency sucks ass.
Perhaps I should just focus and push for one format only, as I am not sure if there are any benefits for me to play both anyway. I am not going to earn much in win rewards, so it is just a lot of extra games and burned ECR that I could save instead. Modern would require less rental cards, Wild is where I am slightly more comfortable.
Opinions?
However, since I can't play tonight and I am tired AF, I will turn in and "sleep on it" instead, testing the waters tomorrow - perhaps playing a couple rounds of each to see which one feels easier. The problem being of course, I have to rent the many cards I need before I can run the test.
Oh well - 2 day minimum costs at least...

I was able to grab a copy, pretty happy with this card long term. I obviously don't know how to best play with the card, I got smoked 4 times out of the 5 I used her so far lol
But excited to see the strategies that develop!

I got all the DEC and vouchers ready, and it sold out before my browser loads.
It is an interesting card, maybe used to surprised the opponent?
Fire: may be useful for a mixed team
Water: the one extra life, if mana allows why not, but won’t be a priority if trade off is to use a weaker monster
Earth: suitable running mixed, but probably not good for magic deck
Life: I think RW or CL normal and legendary may be better
Death: mixed team
As I am typing this out, mixed setup is probably where it shines.
It went very fast. 30 seconds or so I think.
One interesting thing was after the sale, about 20% of them were on the rental market.
What do you mean by mixed team?
Yep, doesn't help water much - Earth it will be okay for weak magic with Queen and Epona and the extra life can come in handy there, with Failed summoner adding another one on top. 3+ life.
Death might be okay to stop redemption attacks.
Mixed team: melee ranged magic and not a specific theme where +damage may be more valuable.

Matt has killed my Trample and Backfire also. Soon, the only thing I will have left is knockout, but no stun.

1000 is really not many cards and if people start to freak out about wanting to buy it the price will go up very fast.

Interesting ranked and rental strategy. How does holding cards for brawl affect the cards your rent out?
It makes a massive difference for rentals. I used to be able to cover all the rents I need by renting out my cards, but brawling means I can't do that now - so it has become far more expensive tl play.
