Today, 08 December 2021, at noon GMT+7, is the exact time I did my first ever card pack opening in my own account, and that happens to be a Chaos Legion pack. I have opened some Gladius packs on a delegated account, but this time it felt different. Sweaty hands, blurry vision, and dizzying sensation crept to me just like when I won a yoyo artistic performance competition in my younger years.

Before opening my first pack, I checked the Dr.Blight card airdrop first. Although I only bought 1 pack in-game, well, there's still chance. By the way, kudos to the new @Splinterlands Shop page, looks really good!

Next was opening my first pack. Little did I know, my first ever opening actually gave me a Legendary card and an Epic card straight away.

Greed took over me and I immediately opened the 2nd pack. Upon dragging the pack to the magic well, guilt took over. I intended to hold the total 16 packs I have and open them in a week interval. Well, opening animation started, there was no going back. Andddddddd, luckily I got a gold foil card in this 2nd pack. Goddess of Fortune was by my side.

That was a good day for me. Great feeling, good result, couldn't complain.

Later at night that day, we (SPL-Indonesia Discord Server) held a quiz event to giveaway these prizes:

• 2x Chaos Legion packs,
• 1x Voucher,
• 1x Obsidian card,
• 1000 DEC

The quiz questions ranging from Splinterlore, Chaos Legion cards stats, and lastly dad jokes. Yeah, dad jokes. These kind of events were held often in our server, but be aware that we used Indonesian language inside. So whoever wanna join, feel free to, but you need to get your Google Translate ready to go.

Overall The Chaos Legion Day was hella fun. Awesome card arts, great packs opening animation, good first pack result, and successful community event. This will be a great day to remember in my Splinterlands playing history.
