Today's Random Battle Commentary

I haven't posted on Splintertalk forever.

That changes today.

All going well, I'm going to do a rundown of a random battle. Sometimes I'll win, sometimes I'll lose. With Silver level summoners in the Gold league most commonly I'll lose...but here it today's battle.

Team Decision

40 mana and no summoner bonus. Usually I'd go Dragon because I have a great 3 mana no buff mana summoner perfect for these silenced summoner battles. However, today no Dragon available. Only Life and Fire.

Fire is a lot of melee and ranged and tends to be more popular. Very little magic. So, I'm going to take LIFE and prepare to armor up, repair, and heal! If the opponent chooses life? Well, then it gets interesting.

• The Chain Golem is shielded and a beast of a tank. Love him up front.

• Bila has heavy magic damage to bypass a lot of Fire Armor and beef up in the meantime. Hopefully Grum Fireblade doesn't make an appearance!

• Defender of Truth. Heavy magic damage and armor for my troops. Awesome

• Djinn Renova. Heavy magic damage and that +1 health means my Golem will heal +3/turn instead of the usual +2

• Adelade -- repair to keep the armor up, resurrect to bring back an opponent plus their armor. Very useful as long as the opponent isn't using magic.

• Divine healer -- useful to keep my frontline tank going!

** Round 1**

He chose FIRE horray.
But he has Ragnor up front. That guy is HUGE and his rage means he can take down tanks FAST! Plus he has lots of health so my guys are going to be hard pressed to get rid of him. Also lots of damage coming from the rear. Hope my armor and healing hold out!

Round #2

I'm holding up well and his Ragnor is hurting! My Defender of Faith is unprotected which means the armor could be done soon. Let's see how things fair next round.

Round #3

Killed their tank. Defender of faith killed but resurrected. Now its just mopping up.

Ragnar went down. The rest of his team is unprotected from magic. My Defender of Faith went down but was resurrected. With their tank done they are done for. All that is left is mopping up.

Finish.

Yes my defender of faith fell to their Countess Sinash but ultimately her ranged attack kept getting countered by armor and repair.
