How To Delegate HP to Power-Up Resource Credits

It’s Hive Power-Up Day! Do you know anyone that’s having issues in-game with Resource Credits running out? Delegate them some HP! You’ll help them out by recharging their resource credits a bit and you’ll also earn a cool badge! All you have to do is power-up at least 10 HIVE and the badge will be added to your board at the end of the day. The bigger the power-up, the bigger the badge!

Click on the Keychain icon in your browsers hamburger menu.

This will open your dashboard. I have a balance of 105.527 HP and I'm going to delegate some of that to Power-Up another account.

Click on the arrow to the right of your HP to open the drop down menu and click on “Delegate” to display the delegations page.

Here we see both an incoming and outgoing amount. The incoming amount is HP that’s delegate to your account. The outgoing amount is the amount you currently have delegated to someone.

Enter the username of the account you want to delegate HP to and then enter the amount below. Hit “Delegate to User” and that’s it!

We can check that everything worked by going to your PeakD Dashboard (replace USERNAME in the link with your own username) and checking your HP. The number in parentheses below your balance is the total amount of your delegations, both incoming and outgoing. Clicking the magnifying glass next to it will display open a chart displaying them below. From there, you’ll be able to manage you’re outgoing delegations.

Clicking on the “Update” button will open a window that will allow you to modify an existing delegation. NOTE: if the delegation amount is reduced it will take 5 days until the HP is available again in your account.

If you’d like to remove the delegation entirely, just click the trashcan icon instead. A window will open for you to confirm the action and then you’re all set!
