A CREATIVE way of using Venari Seedsmith! [Splinterlands]

In today's post, I would like to highlight a "niche" use case of Venari Seedsmith that had worked for me several times.

In the Equalizer Ruleset

The Equalizer Ruleset offsets one of Seedsmith's biggest weaknesses: its low health. As every monster gets the same amount of health points, Seedsmith isn't targeted by Opportunity attacks right off the bat, which gives it time to Scavenge before getting to the front line.

Scavenger & Tank Heal, a resilient combo

I like to place Seedsmith as my second tank along with a Tank Heal behind, either it is Wood Nymph or Goblin Psychic. This combo allows Seedsmith to heal for more and more health points as the battle goes. While it can't attack from the front, it cannot be bullied by the Oppress monsters either.

In the battle I share in this post, Seedsmith was only one component of a whole. However, its resiliency made the win much easier. Indeed, its health points fell down as low as 2 before quickly going back up reaching 17 in the end. At that time, Goblin Psychic was already healing it for 5 health points per turn.

The Earth Splinter

The Earth Splinter allows for the use of this combo at a low cost. Seedsmith is a Reward card that is still in print. Goblin Psychic comes with the starter deck while Wood Nymph is cheap to rent. The recent airdropped card, Iza The Fanged, which has also the Scavenger ability could probably work the same way in a similar situation.
