My humble GOALS in Splinterlands for 2022 [What can new players expect?]

My investment into the game so far
Time invested:
- 96 days
Money invested:
- $10 Spellbook
- $2 Fiat
- $30 Vouchers (I ended up buying individual cards with that budget)
- $400 Chaos Legion packs
Total: $442
My goal for 2022
My goal for 2022:
Earning back those $442 through the game.
Daily goal: 442 / 365 = $1.21 per day
My 3 ways of earnings in Splinterlands:
- Battling
- Flipping Cards
- Blogging
By combining those 3 means of earnings, I should be able to reach $1.21 per day fairly easily. Otherwise, I could always add the value of the 3 SPS I get from the daily airdrop for the next six months or so.
The goal is to cover my entire investment into the game without having to sell one single Chaos Legion pack. If those, as many people expect, skyrocket in price once sold out, I should be able to make a decent profit.

Worst case scenario
By getting all my money back by playing the game, I'll still be in the positive even though the packs don't appreciate in value. As long as I enjoy the game along the way, it will still have been worth it.
Best case scenario
I intend to keep on building my deck one card at a time, and who knows how much it will be worth at the end of the year. I try to keep my focus on being consistent while avoiding unrealistic expectations. We will see where my daily commitment will lead me in the long run.
My current situation
I have been fortunate lately. I started blogging 20 days ago and thanks to generous upvotes, I am currently earning roughly $3 per day on average. Adding to this, the SPS airdrop and the DEC earned while playing, we reach an estimated total of $4 per day. At that pace, I would be able to reach my goal much faster than expected.
In terms of Collection Power (CP)
I have been able to grow my Collection Power to 5500 CP without opening any of my 100 Chaos Legion packs. My goal is to cross the 15000 CP (Silver III) threshold before the end of the year. By consistently reinvesting my earnings into buying new cards, this objective should be attainable.
In conclusion
To conclude, I would say that I am looking forward to reflecting on this post in a few months and seeing how things have turned out.
