Another week, another Battle Mage Secrets challenge. Every week we have the challenge of sharing battle specific rulesets. We will explain the strategy we use for those rulesets. To join this weekly challenge, just follow Splinterlands.

• Melee units can attack from any position.
• The prime use case for melee units with Bloodlust.
• Abilities take precedence where targeting is concerned.

For this ruleset, all melee units can attack in the 1st position from any position. But melee units with abilities (sneak and opportunity) will take precedence where targeting is concerned. Melee monsters with two attacks have an advantage for this ruleset. They can use their two attacks in any position. Also, melee monsters with double-strike abilities have an advantage on this.

For defense, I suggest using a monster or summoner with an anti-melee defense like Thorns, Shield, or Dodge.

One of the rulesets is Up Close & Personal I use Possibilus because of the trample ability given to all monsters.

BATTLE LINE-UP

1st Position

DIEMONSHARK - Melee attacker with trample and enrage ability Diemonshark also have a large life and armor that are fit to be tanks for this battle.

2nd Position

COASTAL SENTRY - Melee attacker with double strike ability

3rd Position

HARDY STONEFISH - Melee attacker with no additional ability.

4th Position

TIDE BITER - Melee attacker with reach and reflection shield abilities To protect against the possibility of using the opponent's thorns.

5th Position

DEMENTED SHARK - Melee attacker with inspire ability To increase +1 melee to all melee monsters.

6th Position

DRYBONE RAIDER - Double attack (Melee and Ranged) monster with double strike and shatter ability. Because of the rulesets, Melee Mayhem Drybone Raider can use additional melee attacks on the 1st-position monster even if he is in the last position. Shatter helps to destroy the armor of the opponents.

• Round 1 No monster dies.
• My Diemonshark kills opponents Elven Defender. Trample activated hit 2nd position opponents Diemonshark.
• Opponent Coastal Sentry kills my Diemonshark. Trample activated hit my 2nd position Coastal Sentry.
• My Demented Shark kills opponents Diemonshark. Trample activated hit 2nd position opponents Coastal Sentry
• Opponent Hardy Stonefish kills my Coastal Sentry. Trample activated hit my 2nd position Hardy Stonefish.

ROUND 3

• Opponent Coastal Sentry kills my Hardy stonefish. Trample activated hit my 2nd position Tide Biter.
• The second attack of the double strike abilities of the opponent, Coastal Sentry, kills my Tide Biter. Trample activated hit my 2nd position, Demented Shark.
• My Demented Shark kills opponent Coastal Sentry. Trample activated hit opponent 2nd position Demented Shark.

ROUND 4

• In the first attack of the double strike abilities, my Drybone Raider kills the opponent Demented Shark using ranged.
• Because of shatter, Drybone destroys Disintegrator armor.
• Opponent Disintegrator kills my Demented Shark. Trample activated hit my 2nd position Drybone Raider.

ROUND 6

• My Drybone Raider kills the opponent Disintegrator.
• Trample activated hit opponent 2nd position Hardy Stonefish.
• Because of shatter, Drybone destroys Hardy Stonefish armor.

ROUND 7

• Because of double strike ability Drybone Raider kills the opponent Hardy Stonefish.
• Battle ended in round 7.

• The strategy of using tramples in battle is successful. Every time the opponent kills, it will attack the second-position monsters.
• Including monsters with double attacks helps to add additional damage to the battle, especially since the ruleset is Up Close and Personal.
• Shatter also helps to easily destroy the armor of the opponent.
• Including additional melee damage or lessening the damage of melee helps also in Melee Mayhem rulesets.

• Pinapatay ng Kalaban sa Coastal Sentry ang aking Hardy stonefish. Na-activate ang trample tinira sa aking pangalawang position na Tide Biter.
• Ang pangalawang pag-atake ng mga kakayahan ng dobleng strike ng kalaban, ang Coastal Sentry, ay pumapatay sa aking Tide Biter. Na-activate ang trample tumama sa 2nd position ko, Demented Shark.
• Pinapatay ng Aking Demented Shark ang kalaban na Coastal Sentry.Na-activate ang trample tumama sa kalaban pangalawang position na Demented Shark.

ROUND 4

• Sa unang pag-atake ng mga kakayahan ng double strike, pinapatay ng aking Drybone Raider ang kalaban na Demented Shark gamit ang pana.

• Na-activate ang trample tumama sa kalaban pangalawang position na Hardy Stonefish.
• Dahil sa pagkabasag, sinisira ng Drybone ang Hardy Stonefish kalasag.

ROUND 7

• Dahil sa kakayahan ng double strike na pinapatay ng Drybone Raider ang kalaban na si Hardy Stonefish.
• Natapos ang labanan sa ika-7 round.
