RE: My rental Profit

Im curious: do you only rent cards, or do you rent the ones you dont' really use and still actively play?
I see a lot of people that only rent and treat splinterlands as an investment which I think is pretty cool...but I don't understand how to avoid the temptation of wanting to play the game and use your cards!
