Screaming Banshee~splinterlands

Spectres,genies and silhoettaes have long been topics among the mankind. Some arguing scientifically that they don’t exist while some flaunting that they have experienced such multidimensional creatures. Many stories have been associated with them . The spectres silhoetting the trees , woods and vacant old houses.

One of such stores is associated with famous “Screaming Banshee” who resides in the mountain caves of the Rayscoo Range of Mortis. It is said that alot of banshees lie there but most horrific,most deadly and most ferocius of them is “Screaming Banshee” whose screams are its main lethal weapon to spread its fear in surroundings.

No one has seen it but it is said that once someone tried to challenge its mighty power and permeated those caves. Along with screams , it possess many magical powers as well which can surmount every resistance and anihilate anyone standing before it.

Today I decided to make the amazing character of “Screamin Banshee” for my participation in @splinterlands weekly contest.

Procedure:

While I was making it, I initially thought to sketch it in human structure but the human and silhouette don't make any sense together so I didn't interfere with the non-matter nature of my screaming banshee.

The first step was to outline the characters. I started with a face. I was very gently and accurate in drawing lines so that the facial expressions didn’t miss any characteristic of banshee.

The reference character was neckless but was aligned in a way that there was complete synchronization. As a banshee is spectre drawing legs would be most rubbish of all. Specters don’t need legs to walk. They fly without wings and walk without feet with their magical powers.

I outlined the whole character with its round but thin arms to legless and neckless entity and delicately sketching out facial features.

Now it was time to add to the charm of my character and add magical colors into it like its powers. I used pink color for the body of my specter and white for dress. I especially focussed on eyebrows and made them dark black. I added an orange ribbon up the head and for the arms devices and hence it is how my character was ready.
