Splinterlands: I never even imagined receiving such a magnificent gift!🔥

I remember saying last season that it was one of my best seasons to date; however, during the current season—despite having added several new cards to my deck—I had been consistently struggling. Yet, just two days before the season's end, something happened last night that transformed this into my most magnificent season on Splinterlands so far.🌟

Last night, around 12 AM, while I was struggling to reach the Silver 2 tier in Splinterlands, I noticed something extraordinary during the card selection phase for a battle: I saw a multitude of distinct cards—equipped with formidable attacking powers and spanning various rarities and foils. I was utterly astonished, as these were neither my own cards nor was I aware of anyone intending to lend me any, nor did I have any expectation of receiving such rewards from any source. To be honest, I thought there might have been a glitch in the game, as all the latest cards were showing up in my deck. At that time, I was in the Silver 1 tier with a ranking of 1260, and I needed just 40 more points to reach a ranking of 1300 and unlock Silver 2. So, instead of going into my deck to investigate the matter, I decided—why not use these mind-blowing cards to unlock Silver 2 first? :D In the very next battle, I noticed various new cards among the Archons as well, and I felt like this was absolutely incredible!

But just think: to climb from a ranking of 1260 to 1300—a feat that should have required me to win merely two back-to-back battles—I actually had to play five or six matches just to unlock Silver 2. Why? Because I was sitting there, contentedly enjoying my Rajma Chawal (kidney beans and rice)—a dish I absolutely love—when suddenly, my table was inundated with White Sauce Pasta, Momos, Pizza, Kadhai Paneer, Butter Naan, Chole Bhature, Bhandara-style Potato Curry with Pooris, Raita, Gulab Jamuns, Spongy Rasgullas, Watermelon, Mangoes, Mulberries, Grapes, Coconut, Kiwi, and a host of other favorites of mine. I became so overwhelmed that I simply couldn't decide what to eat and what to leave out. 😁😋

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to @davemccoy for this; I never even imagined receiving such a magnificent gift. It will undoubtedly make the game many times more enjoyable. Thank you so very much for entrusting me with this entire trove of the latest and most lethal cards from the Escalation set.😎🙏

And I would also like to thank the entire @splinterlands team for creating such an awesome game. Until a few days ago, I used to play only 8 Ball Pool and Splinterlands, but now I have almost stopped playing 8 Ball Pool altogether, and #splinterlands is currently my one and only favorite game.🔥

When they first announced the Escalation Set, we knew right away that it would introduce some new abilities. However, reading about those abilities back then versus seeing them in action on the battlefield now is a completely different experience. I have included screenshots in this post featuring the unique new abilities found on some of the cards I received from this new Escalation Set. When I first started writing this blog, I intended to simply tell you about these abilities; but now, I’ve had a better idea: why not show you their performance directly on the battlefield? After all, that would be the best way to help you understand the power of these new abilities and the impact they have. So, throughout the entire upcoming season, I will show you various battles—some featuring spectacular displays of these abilities, and perhaps others where they perform poorly—and together, we will learn how to utilise these cards and abilities in the most effective way possible.

There are still two days remaining until the current season ends. I have already unlocked the Silver 2 tier, from whose loot rewards I received three cards—one of which is an Elf melee attacker from the Escalation set. During these remaining two days, I will do my absolute best to reach Silver 1; and with these mind-blowing cards, who knows—perhaps next season I might even be able to play in the Gold tier for the very first time! Wish me luck!🌟

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
