Some Splinterlands cards are stupid balanced
I'm not sure what the idea is behind some Splinterlands cards, but some are really stupid and make no sense at all in terms of balance or card value.
Here are some examples:
The pelacor Bandit is better. But why? Same speed, same life, and same attack. Makes no sense.
Another example:
Same game. Why should someone want to update Goblin Fireballer if the archer can be used for every deck? The only use case is if only 1 color is allowed.
But is this really worth it?
Highlander archer is the same.
I understand they are basic cards needed. But neutral should be IMO a little bit weaker than color cards. That was the case in beta and alpha.
There are more cards with a similar "issue".
IMO debuff cards could fix it.
For example, Same stats if no other archer is used or needs 2 other ranges to for it.
So these cards would be less flexible and don't devalue other cards.
What's your opinion?
Am I wrong? Is this not a big deal? Same stats but a different picture?
What happens with future editions? did we see 10x variants of the same card with millions in supply?
I think the first example is the worst one, why is the flying one stronger?
It's about the value of the cards, devaluing older cards is meh for holders.
The upper-level cards are very different later, none plays level 1 cards... do they?
cards looks the same upper level.
And some are weaker upper level too.
All Palecor can fly :)
The Archer suxx ass high level, goblin has snare and stun
MEDUSA and RIVER NYMPH are the same. But IMO RIVER NYMPH is the better card with 3 special-level abilities.
Also, it's massive cheaper and better than level 1 medusa.
Btw obviously later editions are meant to be slightly better in modern battles. At least that would make sense.
I don't know,
It's IMO for non NFT card games good to sell the newer editions. But i think older cards should have something unique. They don't need to be stronger, but they should allow different combos + not should be weaker in mana/stats value.
If they go down the YuGiOh road, some cards should build up synergy effects with others. Just think of EXODIA and it's still a lot of fun.
exactly.
Same with debuffs.
negative synergy or enemies buffs.
you are slow
compare level 3 with level 4
haha yeah :P
