New Beginnings

My name is Alexander, and I know a little bit about a lot of things. They say a Jack of all trades is a King of none, but there's exceptions to every rule šŸ˜‰

I started my online journey as a teen, learning HTML and the ins and outs of the Windows XP, the web, etc. Needless to say I got side tracked many times and real life has left me so far behind on the current pulse in the tech world, but this is my attempt to get back connected. I love the format of the Hive blockchain, and it seems to have a lot more social engagement than I see elsewhere. I haven't fully studied the governance or tokenomics but from what I see seems very feasible, and like it has room for growth. Let's be honest, there's only a handful of reasons that drew everyone of us here, some of us just one, others here for many reasons. I digress. I am from America, and I spend my time studying the world of defi/p2e/crypto while taking care of my amazing children. Obviously my upvotes here won't be paying the bills anytime soon, but currently I run a retail space and I make glass art. I make chains, bracelets, marbles, bowls, pipes, etc. all custom colored and shaped. I find the hobby to be very challenging and rewarding, just like the crypto space can be sometimes. Also like the crypto space, it can be very disheartening at times and I appreciate all the support and encouragement I find around me! I hope everyone reading this has an amazing day and that together we can decentralize larger populations and be the change in the world.

I originally posted this on PeakD but it didn't get cross posted here, but the things I post here get cross posted there, so seems like lesson learned hope this doesn't cause too much confusion for any of the curators or such. Getting involved with the Hive blockchain has really helped me broaden my knowledge of the Web3 space and I think onboarding more people will be an easy thing to do here.

I hope you can share your work here in the future! That would be really great!

Anyways, Welcome to Hive, Alexander!
And great to know a little a bit of yourself.
I certainly agree that the crypto space is risky and disheartening at times but never give up!

Oh, I do suggest to just delete the first one you posted so as not to cause any confusion. šŸ˜‰

this is a silver fumed marble I made, along with a simple spoon pipe, and one of my first chains I made, they're much nicer now
