🌿¡Hola queridos amigos blogueros! Espero que estén muy bien y que tengan un agradable día. Estoy un poco nervioso porque esta es mi primera entrada para el concurso de arte de @Splinterlands.

Para esta semana, como primer dibujo, te mostraré cómo fue hacer a SPIRIT OF THE FOREST. Elegí esta carta porque amo la naturaleza y creo que es un buen personaje para adaptar a mi estilo. Aunque el estilo de la carta es muy diferente a mi estilo personal, me gustó mucho la calidad de los detalles. Además, fue perfecto para mí porque suelo hacer dibujos con fondos llenos de naturaleza y me fascinó bastante la idea de combinar esos dos estilos. ¡Vamos a ello!

• 🌿 Hello dear blogging friends! I hope you are doing great and having a nice day. I'm a bit nervous because this is my first entry for the Splinterlands art contest.

• For this week, as the first drawing, I will show you what it was like to make SPIRIT OF THE FOREST. I chose this card because I love nature and I think it's a good character to adapt to my style. Although the style of the card is very different from my personal style, I really liked the quality of the details. Also, it was perfect for me because I usually draw pictures with nature-filled backgrounds and I was quite fascinated by the idea of combining those two styles. let's get to it!

A pesar de que suelo hacer escenas completas, para este dibujo decidí hacer algo más sencillo, pero no por ello menos detallado.

Lo primero que hice fue hacer el boceto, para la chica quise hacer una pose muy natural, la hice caminando por el bosque, con una expresión muy alegre, que pareciera que disfrutara mucho dar un paseo y así poder admirar lo bella que es la naturaleza.

Cómo detalle extra, esta es la primera vez que le añado ese tipo de fondos atrás del personaje. Honestamente, lo hice como un experimento, pero a partir de ahora lo usaré más seguido. Esto le da más vida a mi dibujo y aparte queda muy bello.

Luego de hacer el boceto realicé un estudio de color, y para ello utilicé los mismos tonos del dibujo original. También utilicé un color rosado para complementarlo con el dibujo y así no salirme de la estética original y que el dibujo no perdiera su esencia.

• Even though I usually do full scenes, for this drawing I decided to do something simpler, but no less detailed.

• The first thing I did was to make the sketch, for the girl I wanted to make a very natural pose, I made her walking through the forest, with a very happy expression, it seemed that she really enjoyed taking a walk and admire how beautiful nature is.

• As an extra detail, this is the first time I added that kind of background behind the character. Honestly, I did it as an experiment, but from now on I will use it more often. It gives more life to my drawing and it looks very beautiful.

• After making the sketch I made a color study, and for this I used the same tones of the original drawing. I also used a pink color to complement it with the drawing and so I did not go out of the original aesthetics and the drawing did not lose its essence.

Luego de hacer el estudio de color comencé a colorear. Siempre coloreo en una sola capa, así que me gusta empezar por los fondos, o las zonas que están por detrás del personaje. Esto me facilita el trabajo y me evita dolores de cabeza.

Esta vez comencé por el césped. Primero empecé combinando los tonos verdes y rosados y poco a poco fui agregando detalles. Una vez que tenía lista la parte del césped, agregué algunas flores extra para darle más vida y para que se vea más bonito.

• After doing the color study I started coloring. I always color in a single layer, so I like to start with the backgrounds, or the areas behind the character. This makes my work easier and saves me headaches.

• This time I started with the grass. First I started by combining the green and pink tones and little by little I added details. Once I had the lawn part ready, I added some extra flowers to give it more life and to make it look prettier.

Para este paso procedí a colorear el pequeño fondo detrás del personaje. Para ello coloreé algunas hojas y flores y fui combinando tonos rosados y amarillos.

Después de colorear el fondo, empecé a colorear al personaje. Para ello empecé a colorear el rostro de la niña, en una parte tuve cambiar la forma de la nariz, ya que no me había gustado como la hice en primer lugar. Conforme iba avanzando fui coloreando el cabello y el cintillo con ramas que tiene puesto en la cabeza. También coloreé la ropa del personaje y terminé de colorear el resto del cuerpo.

Una vez que había terminado de colorear al personaje le agregué un pequeño borde a la silueta utilizando el mismo color amarillo del fondo. Esto lo hice para resaltar más al personaje.

• For this step I proceeded to color the small background behind the character. For this I colored some leaves and flowers and combined pink and yellow tones.

• After coloring the background, I started coloring the character. For this I started coloring the girl's face, in one part I had to change the shape of the nose, since I didn't like the way I did it in the first place. As I progressed I colored the hair and the headband with branches that she has on her head. I also colored the character's clothes and finished coloring the rest of the body.

• Once I had finished coloring the character I added a small border to the silhouette using the same yellow color as the background. I did this to make the character stand out more.
