[Splinterlands] Elemental Phoenix - Art Contest
Hello to all digital art lovers! Welcome to my art blog.
On this occasion, I want to share with you my participation in the Splinterlands art contest, in which I chose the character "Elemental Phoenix" to make a fanart. From the first moment I saw this character, I was fascinated with his enigmatic presence and his story as a bird reborn from its ashes. Therefore, I decided that it would be an excellent idea to create an artwork that captures its majesty and mysticism.
For this work, I wanted to explore again the world of mythological characters, as I had done before with the Centaur. At the beginning, I confess that it was a little difficult to find the right way to develop the Phoenix, but I decided to rely on my grayscale technique to give shape and texture to the bird, little by little I gave it volume until I achieved the desired result.
After achieving the right development, it was time to apply the colors and lighting effects. It was a process that required patience and dedication, but in the end the final result exceeded all my expectations. The finish was much better than I expected, I managed to capture the enigmatic and mysterious character of the Phoenix, highlighting its majesty and splendor.
I hope you enjoyed as much as I did creating this digital artwork, which reflects the passion and dedication I have for art. I'm sure all fans of digital art and mythology will enjoy this creation as much as I did.

En esta ocasión, quiero compartir con ustedes mi participación en el concurso de arte que realiza Splinterlands, en el cual elegí el personaje de "Elemental Phoenix" para realizar un fanart. Desde el primer momento que vi este personaje, quedé fascinado con su enigmática presencia y su historia como ave que renace de sus cenizas. Por eso, decidí que sería una excelente idea crear una obra de arte que plasme su majestuosidad y misticismo.
Para este trabajo, quise volver a explorar el mundo de los personajes mitológicos, como ya lo había hecho anteriormente con el Centauro. En un inicio, confieso que me resultó un poco difícil encontrar la forma adecuada de desarrollar al Phoenix, pero decidí confiar en mi técnica de escala de grises para darle forma y textura al ave, poco a poco fui dándole volumen hasta conseguir un resultado deseado.
Después de lograr el desarrollo adecuado, fue momento de aplicar los colores y efectos de luces. Fue un proceso que requirió paciencia y dedicación, pero al final el resultado final superó todas mis expectativas. El acabado fue mucho mejor de lo que esperaba, logré plasmar el enigmático y misterioso carácter del Phoenix, resaltando su majestuosidad y esplendor.
Espero que les haya gustado tanto como a mí crear esta obra de arte digital, la cual refleja la pasión y dedicación que tengo por el arte. Estoy seguro de que todos los fanáticos del arte digital y la mitología disfrutarán de esta creación tanto como yo lo hice.

Drawing development / Desarrollo ✏️ 
At night in the Burning Lands, the great Elemental Phoenix can be seen gliding high overhead from nearly anywhere outside. The massive bird of flame is a silent but watchful protector of the Ferexia. According to legend, the Phoenix has been killed on multiple occasions, but always comes back in times of Ferexia need.
Por la noche, en las Tierras Ardientes, el gran Fénix Elemental puede verse planeando en lo alto desde casi cualquier lugar. Esta enorme ave de fuego es un protector silencioso pero vigilante de Ferexia. Según la leyenda, el Fénix ha sido asesinado en múltiples ocasiones, pero siempre regresa en tiempos de necesidad de Ferexia.
I am happy to share with you the details of the process I followed to create this digital drawing of the Phoenix. I hope this helps you improve your own digital drawing techniques and that you find inspiration in the creative process.
Step 1: Initial Sketch
I started with an initial sketch of the Phoenix. I made several sketches until I found the right shape. Here I wanted the Phoenix to appear in a flying pose, with wings outstretched. Then, I opaque the sketch layer to start with the drawing in grayscale.
Step 2: Grayscale
After finishing the baselines, I created a new layer and changed the blending mode to "multiply". Then, I started applying a grayscale technique using soft and diffuse brushes. This technique allows me to give volume and depth to the Phoenix without worrying about color just yet.
Step 3: Additional details
On an additional layer, I began adding additional details, such as feathers and textures. I used a variety of brushes to achieve different texture effects and details.
Estoy feliz de compartir con ustedes los detalles del proceso que seguí para crear este dibujo digital del Phoenix. Espero que esto les ayude a mejorar sus propias técnicas de dibujo digital y que encuentren inspiración en el proceso creativo.
Paso 1: Boceto inicial
Comencé con un boceto inicial del Phoenix. Hice varios bocetos hasta encontrar la forma adecuada. Acá quise que el Phoenix apareciera en una postura de vuelo, con las alas extendidas. Luego, opaque la capa del boceto para posteriormente emepzar con el dibujo en grises.
Paso 2: Escala de grises
Después de terminar las líneas base, creé una nueva capa y cambié el modo de fusión a "multiplicar". Luego, comencé a aplicar una técnica de escala de grises utilizando pinceles suaves y difusos. Esta técnica me permite dar volumen y profundidad al Phoenix sin preocuparme por el color todavía.
Paso 3: Detalles adicionales
En una capa adicional, comencé a agregar detalles adicionales, como plumas y texturas. Utilicé una variedad de pinceles para lograr diferentes efectos de textura y detalles.

Step 4: Color Application
After finishing the grayscale, I created a new layer on top of all the others and began applying the colors using a variety of brushes and techniques. For the color palette, I chose a combination of red and orange tones to reflect the energy and passion of the Phoenix.
Step 5: Light and shadow effects
To give it a more realistic and dramatic look, I added light and shadow effects in separate layers. I used soft and diffuse brushes to create soft and subtle gradients.
Step 6: Final details
In the final step, I reviewed all the details of the drawing to make sure they were complete and consistent. I adjusted the colors and lighting as needed and added small final details, such as glows and reflections.

Después de terminar la escala de grises, creé una nueva capa sobre todas las demás y comencé a aplicar los colores utilizando una variedad de pinceles y técnicas. Para la paleta de colores, elegí una combinación de tonos rojos y naranjas para reflejar la energía y la pasión del Phoenix.
Paso 5: Efectos de luz y sombra
Para darle un aspecto más realista y dramático, agregué efectos de luz y sombra en capas separadas. Utilicé pinceles suaves y difusos para crear gradientes suaves y sutiles.
Paso 6: Detalles finales
