How many Rebellion Packs are you buying? My strategy

Derzeit läuft auf Splinterlands der Pre-Sale für die neuen Rebellion Kartensets.

Ein Pack kostet $5 bzw. mit 5 Voucher $4, allerdings befürchte ich, dass der Wert der Packs im Laufe der Zeit fallen könnte.

Ein Chaos Pack kostete am Anfang auch $4, jetzt nur noch $0.89. Das liegt nicht nur am Bärenmarkt, sondern auch daran, dass Packs als Reward ausgegeben werden.

Man weiß auch nicht genau, wie viele Rebellion Packs es insgesamt geben wird.

Der Pre-Sale startet mit 500K Packs, danach werden noch einmal 9.5 Millionen Packs gemintet, was doch ziemlich viel ist. Allerdings werden dann jeden Tag, wenn weniger als 25K Packs verkauft werden, der Rest zu 25K verbrannt.

Der Verkauf wird dann circa 1.5 Jahre dauern, wenn die Bedingungen nicht mit einem Proposal geändert werden.

Dazu kommt, dass ich hauptsächlich Gold-Karten sammle, die man mit den Packs nur schwer bekommen kann.

Daher werde ich die Karten, so wie bisher auch direkt am Sekundärmarkt kaufen, diesmal aber eher abwarten, da ich denke, dass die Kartenpreise beim Launch am teuersten sein werden.

In den letzten Wochen vor dem Rebellion-Launch haben die älteren Karten stark an Wert verloren. Dafür gibt es jetzt die Gelegenheit, an ein paar seltene Karten zu kommen, die ich schon immer haben wollte.

Sollte es aber wieder einmal einen NFT-Bullenmarkt geben und Splinterlands bis dahin überleben, könnten die Kartenpreise aber auch wieder astronomisch steigen.

Das ist so circa meine Strategie. Werde so wie bisher zunächst keine Packs kaufen, sondern eher abwarten und dann einzelne Karten sammeln.

Splinterlands is currently running a pre-sale for the new Rebellion card packs.

A pack costs $5 or $4 with 5 vouchers, however I fear that the value of the packs may drop over time.

A Chaos Pack also cost $4 in the beginning, now only $0.89. This is not only due to the bear market, but also because packs are given out as rewards.

It's also not known exactly how many Rebellion Packs there will be in total.

The pre-sale starts with 500K packs, after which another 9.5 million packs will be minted, which is quite a lot. However, every day when less than 25K packs are sold, the rest to 25K will be burned.

The sale will then take about 1.5 years if the conditions are not changed with a proposal.

In addition, I mainly collect gold cards, which are hard to get with the packs.

Therefore I will continue buying the cards directly on the secondary market, but this time I will wait, because I think that the card prices will be most expensive at launch.

In the last weeks before the Rebellion launch, the older cards have lost a lot of value. In return, there is now an opportunity to get my hands on some rare cards that I've always wanted.

But if there is another NFT bull market and Splinterlands survives until then, the card prices could rise astronomically again.

That's about my strategy. I won't buy any packs at first, but rather wait and then collect individual cards.
