Last season I managed to finish in the Diamond III League 1 day before the season ended (I stopped playing immediately after that to avoid blunders due to greed). And I got some pretty interesting rewards although not too much.

I got more monsters from FIRE SPLINTER even though I rarely use it. I also got 3 GOLD FOIL from 2 different monsters and 1 CHAOS LEGION PACK from 32 GOLD CHEST for last season's rewards.

Coastal Sentry

Thanks to the rewards I got last season, I managed to level up Coastal Sentry to level 6. At that level, Coastal Sentry got a new ability (PIERCING). This ability is quite important when facing opponents who have ARMOR lower than the amount of ATTACK POWER of Coastal Sentry. If without Piercing, Coastal Sentry's attack will only damage the opponent's armor. whereas if it has Piercing, its attack will damage the opponent's ARMOR and Health points.

Lets Start the Battles

The ruleset this time was FOG OF WAR, SPREADING FURY, and STAMPEDE. I decided to use WATER SPLINTER and used KELYA FRENDUL as summoner (and it turned out that the opponent used the same summoner). I placed Venari Marksrat with MARTYR in the first position (and brought River Hellondale with RESSURECT as support) due to the Fog of War ruleset that allows attacks to only be aimed at the monster in the first position (unless the monster has SCATTERSHOT or uses Conqueror Jacek).

In the second order, I put Coastal Sentry (which already has PIERCING) so that it becomes the recipient of the MARTYR effect (the STATS of the monster next to the monster will increase by 1 point). But on the opponent's side there is Swamp Spitter who already has GIANT KILLER. This ability is very effective if it successfully hits monsters such as Coastal Sentry which has Mana 10 and above.

Coastal Sentry managed to get additional attack power and speed and now amounts to 7 points (Venari Marksrat defeated 2 times and INSPIRE from River Hellondale)

the amount of attack power and speed of Coastal Sentry increases again after getting attacked by your opponent's River Hellondale. All of that is thanks to the Spreading Fury ruleset which makes it have the ENRAGE ability.

This allowed him to defeat the high HP Djinn Oshannus (after being weakened by attacks from my other monsters). And he defeated Djinn Oshannus a second time shortly after being revived by River Hellondale because he had DOUBLE-STRIKE.

Coastal Sentry can successfully survive so far also thanks to the help of other monsters. BLIND from Flying Squid which makes the opposing monster's attacks (Melee and Ranged) miss more often so that he receives more attacks from Magic monsters. DISPEL from River Hellondale which removes the opposing monster's Buff so that Coastal Sentry's attacks don't miss at all. TANK HEAL and REPAIR from Merdaali Guardian which allows him to survive the opponent's monster attacks.
