It has been a long time since I played a legendary card in the share your battle and I am very excited because today we are going to play using one of the most powerful cards in the game. How to use Legionnaire Alvar?
As it has melee attack and armor that is even greater than its HP, and accompanied by the Void Armor ability, the only use this card can have is as a tank. Unless you have a ruleset that allows it to attack from a position other than the first one, that's the only place where you can use this card and get the most out of it.
With the water type summoner, Possibilus the wise you can use this card in second position and get a lot of benefit from it, but that is a special case. Otherwise it's best used as the tank of your team, and I think it goes without saying that it's perfect against magic.

Round 1
In this battle against Obsidian my Legionnaire Alvar will show his full potential by withstanding magic damage.
Legionnaire Alvar is my tank because of his ability to withstand damage against magic cards thanks to his first ability, that will make him last long in battle. As the Chaos Legion magic damage set has the flaw of going to a single target, you can play support cards that deal armor and life to increase the winrate to 100%.
Chaos Agent as the decoy for the Target Practice, so the secondary line cards spend their damage on the first one.
Tenyii Striker is the first damage of my team, with his sneak he will do damage to the back of the enemy team.
Serpentine Spy will be in charge of knocking down the opponent's cards one by one with his ability.
Scorch Fiend at the end in case a Sneak appears, so it can serve as a decoy.
Round 2
Both teams started by finishing with the Chaos Agent of the opponent, something that was to be expected with that ruleset. When Target Practice appears you can choose to ignore the ruleset, as I did in this battle, by playing only Melee cards, that way the enemy's magic damage will always focus on my Legionnaire and since my tank takes a lot of magic damage, that's where this victory starts to be created.
Round 3
This is what I mean, while my Legionnaire is holding the damage of the enemy cards my Tenyii and my Serpentine Spy are eliminating the enemy team, by the time they manage to knock down my tank it will be too late and besides all that, I will still have Tenyii Striker who is very good as a secondary tank thanks to his life and speed.
Round 4
Round 5
These remaining rounds were purely procedural, when the Regal peryton died everything had already been decided. It is always important to have a good tank, that is the base to win a victory, and Legionnaire Alvar knows how to be one.
How was my experience with this card?
I think it goes without saying how much I like this card. It works very well for everything because of its abilities and that tremendous armor it has, the window of opportunity is starting to pass but there is still time left, so if you are waiting to take advantage of it this is the time. Speaking purely about the game itself, this is one of the best cards you will have and that is from bronze rank, the higher you are the better it will work for you so I recommend it 100%.
