The Townhall yesterday was hype.

We finally have land arriving in Splinterlands after years of development/delay.

Let's see what we have in this update.

I was so confused

There are so many options to look at in the Land Tab now.

Clicking around on things that makes sense to me such as "owned", I found my single plot that I have.

It starts off unsurveyed. A blank slate like below.

Surveying process

Clicking survey brings us to this page which prompts us to get the boosters for the plot.

I got the "Building in a Box" and "Time Vault".

Remember to use your DEC-B if you have them.

Going further by clicking confirm eventually surveys the plot.

Pretty nice artwork.

I got a Bog type plot with a Rare rarity.

Not sure how rare is the Rare rarity, but at least it's something.

Land 1.0 again?

I was under the impression that we will be able to stake our cards and start mining resources or researching the Secrets of Praetoria today.

That's why I was confused when the Splinterlands team mentioned Land 1.0 in yesterdays townhall.

Looks like we still have some waiting to do before we can do anything with land.

On a happy note, DEC spiked substantially because of this land update.
