RE: Splinterlands Town Hall Summary - October 31st, 2022 - 1PM Eastern!

There are bigger issues with Transak than just them being down since the hardforks. Part of my HIVE onboarding nightmare was giving all of my information to Transak in an effort to purchase some HIVE with fiat (this was pre-fork) so that I could buy some cards in Splinterlands, and having them deny me repeatedly. When I reached out to their support, they told me that my SSN was marked as either deceased or locked. I double-checked both, and neither was true. Had no such trouble completing the KYC process at Bittrex the next day, so I'm further convinced the issue was with Transak, and not my SSN.

I don't know how many other people have run into issues like this, but let me tell you; if I hadn't had a cheerleader who loves Splinterlands helping me every step of the way with the process of getting up and running with Splinterlands (and HIVE in general), I would have given up long before ever playing my first battle.
