The card we will be discussing today is Silent Sha-Vi

Silent Sha-vi are entities from the shadow realm that take the form of giant snakes. They travel in darkness and shadow as if each dark corner is a gateway that leads elsewhere. They have an appetite for slow and creeping deaths, feeding off the escalating fear of the victim. If you think there might be a monster under your bed, it's probably a Silent Sha-vi.

  Below is the rental and buy cost of the card at the time of this writing.

  
  
  
  
  The rental price for Silent Sha-Vi is on the cheap side. You can rent a level 2 for 0.10 DEC. However, if you're running it on Bronze, you just need the free level 1 and you're good to go.
  
  
  
  Even though Silent Sha-Vi is free to play right now, the price is a bit high right now. That just show you how useful he is. Sha-Vi is a common monster which should cost less than $0.15. With the cheapest at $0.30, shows you how much useful it is on higher league that people are actually buying the cheap ones to level up.

Card Stats ||

• Mana: 5
• Damage: 2
• Speed: 3
• Health: 5

Silent Sha-Vi's stats are on the high side. The 3 speed along with 2 melee damage and his ability combined makes a threatening combo. The 5 health can be used as a blocker for other sneaks or as a secondary tank. The mana is on the high side but with 3 speed, the trade off is very worth. ════════════════════════════════

Card Effect ||

• Sneak - Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.
  Second best ability for Melee users. This allows your unit to attack from the back row which allows them to act as a reserve tank or a sneak blocker. To me, this would be second due to how more useful Opportunity Ability is with Blast Rule Set.
• Cripple - Each time an enemy is hit by a Monster with Cripple it loses 1 max health.
  Cripple is a good addition when you're trying to assassinate people. It's a really good anti-Taunt Ability. The reason I said this is normally, when you use Taunt creatures, it's supported by massive healers. Reducing Max health also reduces their healing since the healing is scaled to max health. If your opponent has 12 health, if you divide it by 3, which would be 4, would also be the healing. If you inflict Cripple which would decrease their max health by 1, 11 health would be 3.6 if divided by 3. The healing then would only be 3 instead of 4.
• Piercing - If Melee or Ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's Armor, the remainder will damage the target's Health.
  Pierce is good for when the opponent employ Protect Ability. Protect provides 2 armor to everyone which when you have pierce, any excess damage will inflict to their health. ════════════════════════════════

Strengths Weaknesses ||

|| Silent Sha-Vi has 3 speed, a sneak ability and 2 damage. That combined is a very deadly combo. The speed assures you that he would be eliminating enemies first even before they act. As stated, the health can act as a reserve tank or sneak blocker. This is a very strong card that is useful in a lot of way.

|| The weakness is the 5 mana. It allows the card to be unusable in certain Rule Sets like Little League. Higher mana also makes you employ less or weaker creatures. ════════════════════════════════

Positioning ||

During this battle, I employed 4 creatures, Cursed Windeku, Silent Sha-Vi, Soul Strangler and Mantoid. The idea of this lineup is to destroy the back line while Cursed Windeku is protecting them with his health and Thorns. Mantoid is employed in order to deal with possible healers. ════════════════════════════════

Round 1:

By end of Round 1, Silent Sha-Vi downed Ant Miner while everyone else took damage.

Round 2:

End of Round 2 is a bit chaotic. Living Lava falls making Radiated Brute take the front line. Cursed Windeku also falls along with Mantoid. Making the battle 2v2.

Round 3:

Game ended on Round 3. I had the advantage because my creatures has higher speed and it acts first eliminated everyone before they even act.

Compatibility ||

• The best combo with this card for me is with a Melee based team. Snipers target the first creature if the team is all melee. That's a good strategy to employ especially against light elements.

Final Thoughts

With all the evidences that we gathered, we could say that Silent Sha-Vi is a very good card.It's useful in a lot of situation and given that the price is increasing, buying them now would make a profit in the long run. This is a card that will always be useful even if new cards are introduced in the near future.
