Card Spotlight #22: Tarsa

╘═══════════════╡°•✧•°╞═══════════════╛

She may be little but she packs a punch. Tarsa is a summoner that you need to watch out when playing against Fire elements. Her ability to increase his minion's stats and blast through opposition through sheer force is nothing to sneeze at. Tarsa is one. if not the very best, summoner out there that can completely dominate the game if not countered correctly.

The card we will be discussing today is Tarsa.
Tarsa Card.PNG
The village folk always say that Tarsa was born with fire in her blood, and that is true in many ways. Her burning rage and quick temper are amplified by her powers to summon and control fire. While her parents and teachers tried to instill patience for such dangerous magic, Tarsa had little time for that. She used her abilities to bully and threaten those that got in her way.
Her young and innocent-looking appearance only helped her to further manipulate people around her. “Tarsa always gets what Tarsa wants” is what she says to herself every time something or someone challenges her.
When the Chaos Legion arrived, Tarsa saw this as an opportunity to have free reign of her fire power without interference from anyone else. So long as the Chaos Legion opens the path for her, she can burn everything else to the ground.

We would rate this card based on:

  • Cost to buy/rent this card. How affordable and accessible is the card.
  • Card Stats. How balanced the card is based on its role.
  • Card Effect. How useful is its effect based on the role of the card.
  • Strengths and Weaknesses. If the card can counter other cards and/or be countered easily by others or not.
  • Positioning. Adaptability of where the card can be placed.
  • Compatibility. How useful it is on its current element.

    Rental/Buy Cost ||

    Below is the rental of the card at the time of this writing.

    Rent.jpg

    Rental price of Tarsa is really low because of the fact that she can be used freely as of now. However, it's more advised to rent a higher level summoner depending on the current league you have. This gives you more advantage as your opponents have lower levels, which means less stats overall.

Below is the buy cost of the card at the time of this writing.

Buy.jpg

Tarsa's purchase price is a bit steep for a Chaos Legion card. However, this has a meaning behind it. Personally, I think Tarsa is the best summoner right now as it provides two of the best buffs in the game, damage and health. Increased damage means you can eliminate opponent faster which in turn means less overall damage against your team. Higher health means longer survivability for your monsters which in turn provides higher damage overall.

Card Stats ||

As I mentioned, Tarsa's increased stats for the team is probably the best. She can make weaker monsters strong. She can buff those 1 costs with 1 damage, 1 health into 2 health 2 damage. That's huge. This is in addition to the fact that she is a Fire element summoner which has the best melee monsters in the game.
════════════════════════════════

Strengths Weaknesses ||

|| Tarsa's strengths are the stats in provides. An all melee team, who abuses her increased melee damage, is the most proper team to use most of the time. However, one or two mages added to that is better to not be completely shut off by Shield.

|| Tarsa's weakness is her strengths. If you don't work around, meaning you mindlessly use all melee because Tarsa provides that stats increase, you will be countered easily. One or two Shield ability users can directly shut the composition off. Also, there are some Rule Sets that prohibits the use of melee monsters which in turn directly inhibits Tarsa's efficiency. Working around these weaknesses is the one you need to master the most as the player of this excellent game.

Positioning ||

POSITIONING:

Positioning.jpg

This is a 2v2 match with Tarsa vs Drake of Arnak. I honestly thought I was at a disadvantage this game due to lack of monsters which is Tarsa's strength.

ROUND 1:

Round 1 End.jpg

By end of Round 1, a hit from Living Lava brings down Cursed Windeku to almost half of its health. The thorns, though, on the other hand, inflicts only half of its damage as Living Lava has Shield which halves Thorns effect.

ROUND 2:

Round 2 End.jpg

By end of Round 2, Cursed Windeku dies from hits from both Living Lava and Goblin Fireballer. Cursed Windeku will then be replaced by Life Sapper which has magic damage and is unaffected by the Shield ability.

ROUND 3:

Round 3 End.jpg

By end of Round 3, Living Lava goes to a dangerous 2 health. Life Sapper survives from the hits against him via his armor and his ability to dodge as he has 2 speed vs 1 speed of both monsters that I have.

ROUND 4:

Round 4 End.jpg

By end of Round 4, luck runs out from Life Sapper as the total damage of 5 deals a fatal blow to Life Sapper. However, this is a really close battle as Goblin Fireballer are not allowed to attack if he were on 1st position. This means that if any of my monsters missed this turn, Life Sapper attacks first next round eliminating Living Lava and taking the game from Goblin Fireballer's inability to attack. A really close game this is.

Compatibility ||

The best combo with this card for me is with an all melee team. This allows Tarsa to shine as all monsters would have increased damage that can win games if stacked. The best composition would be a lot of monsters with all melee if possible as the higher the number of monsters you have, the more stats would be increased overall.

Lastly...

Before doing the final verdict, here is the sample of a battle using this card.

Final Thoughts

With all the evidences that we gathered, we could say that Tarsa is currently the best summoner in the game. Not only it provides increased damage to quickly eliminate opponents but Health as well, which is the core essence of surviving in the game. With how low the price of Tarsa, either rent or purchase, it is best advised to abuse it and either rent high leveled ones for dealing with higher league and purchase to stock on for future battles.

All in all, I would give it...
