So much struggle for this? Really? Seriously? (2022.01.15)
Three hours ago I wrote that I reached the Silver III League almost in the last hour of the current season (2022.01.15). I really cannot find the words right now. They are out of this world. Not because of huge happiness, but because of huge disappointment. This is like a huge slap in the face from this game. An ultimate demotivation.
I would not even call these "rewards". This is literally a slap in the face, compared to how much time and effort I put into this game.
A Pelacor Deceiver, 4 Dark Energy Crystals (DEC), 1 Alchemy Potion Charge, 1 Legendary Potion Charge, a Venari Heathsmith, a Pelacor Conjurer, 10 Dark Energy Crystals (DEC), another Pelacor Deceiver, a Pelacor Bandit, 1 Legendary Potion Charge, a Pelacor Mercenary, and another Venari Heathsmith.
Seeing the dozens of hours of struggle, do you really think that these are really rewards?
A bunch of almost worthless cards, and a few potions, which are literally worthless. Really? Seriously?
The value of my Splinterlands card collection decreased even more. So actually I have not earned anything this time. And these cards are not really helping me in-game either. So these are crap, not rewards. Bravo Splinterlands. Well done on demotivating the players.
This game is used to be fun, but nowadays I am becoming more and more disappointed in it.
Not sure what to say, there's people getting only credits and potions (I did but yeah I wasn't playing this season) and here you are complaining on a good amount of cards, more than half of your chests..
There's just so many new cards in the market it's only natural the value is down a bit. But aren't you still up from before the big pump? News flash: over the coming weeks it could go lower, but this is a long term game just wait till these cards aren't rewarded anymore and become scarce. Hope this helps put things in perspective!
Wow. I have not seen anyone with that so far, but that is the real demotivation. I would probably stop playing Splinterlands in that case. I spent many hours playing this game almost every day. Even today. The whole morning, and the small part of the afternoon.
I know. I am one of the oldest Splinterlands players. I am playing it since 2018.12.30, and I used to receive good rewards, but the last three seasons were real crap.
I am trying not to give up on Splinterlands.
Yeah Im the same as you. Same rank and actually got the same cards would you believe. They weren't great at all. It is demotivating. I do not think you can play this game and do well unless you are at minimum gold standard and that costs a pretty penny. Splinterlands need to incentivize the lower leagues more because there is a gap forming between the rich and the poor who in the end with stop playing,
I completely agree. Nowadays Splinterlands feels more like a "pay to win" than a "play to earn" game. Players in the Bronze and in the Silver Leagues also need proper rewards to feel that they are making progress with the game. If the game gives mostly unusable (or rarely usable) cards, then that is pointless for the players. People will leave the game eventually. The last three season end rewards were like this. Splinterlands used to give proper rewards in the past. Hopefully the current season end rewards will be better.
My silver rewards - I got 111 DEC, 6 potions and three cards although one was epic. not happy either
Probably most players are in similar shoes to us. Hopefully this season end rewards will be better.
One girl I know got 6oo DEC and some good cards, she was silver too. yes let's hope this one is better!
I got a total of only 7 Common Cards, 128 DEC, and a Legendary Potion as my Silver III Season Reward last Season. That is also disappointing, but I remembered the time when I started playing #Splinterlands where I was already contented earning a few cents per day.

Well its the typical rewards and I am not really surprised by it. After all, we are kind of relying on luck. I didn't net any epic or legendary cards in my season opening but I did get a few rare cards (ended in gold II).

If I would have also received at least one rare card, then I would not be so disappointed. Especially if it would be helpful in battles. Maybe this season end rewards will be better.
This is a mock of a reward indeed, but unfortunately it happens quite often. Btw I checked your collection and got impressed. You must be really good player if you reached Silver with the cards that you own
My cards are not that good. I have a few level 2-3 cards delegated to me from other kind players. So I also used other card, not just/only my own card collection.
That's what I mean. It was super hard for me to reach Silver with almost full collection of beta and reward cards and a good amount of untamed and promo as well. I'm also renting some of my idle cards to you, to strengthen your Life team ;)

I don't play the game but also read some disappointments in the past about the rewards. I hope it will be better in the next season though.
I play Splinterlands since 2018.12.30. The game used to give good rewards in the past. Only the previous three season end rewards were disappointing. I really hope that the current season end rewards will be better.
Your reward wasn't that good... Mine wasn't either, but I hope that this season we'll be lucky to receive a lot of decs and good cards.
